''So am I.'' he leant down and kissed her, clearly happy. Relaxing back against the bed, he stared up at the ceiling.
''Would you play me a song? '' He wanted to see the joy in her face as she played her flute.

She smiled and nodded before getting up and grabbing her flute. She sat down again and settled herself against him. She started playing again, happy that she could play again. Happy tears fell as she played. He was back, her flute was back, but more importantly they were together.

He attempted to reach out and wipe her tears but he realized he couldn't.
Laughing slightly he spoke '' Le Melon, angel. Do not cry, all is well''

She stopped and laughed lightly. "They are but tears of happiness, love." she wiped at her eyes, then leaned down and kissed him briefly before going back to her songs on her flute.

He relaxed and listened to her music once again, glad she was shedding tears of happiness.
''Kiss me again'' he asked, his signature smile plastered on his face.

She chuckled and obliged him, leaning down and kissing him thoroughly. "It must feel strange having to ask for everything now." she grinned and nipped his nose playfully before bringing more ale up to his lips for him to drink. "And some wishes are just known." she winked at him.

He laughed and drank the ale gratefully.
''Yes it is strange. But pleasantly so. I enjoy having my wife dote over me.
Yes, some wishes I am unable to hide from you.'' he said, turning slightly red at the mention.

She chuckled and kissed him again when he had finished. "That goes both ways, darling." she set the ale down and propped herself up on one arm while she looked down at him. "But really. You seem fine now. Are you sure the bonds are stil necessary?" her hand rested on his chest, over the black spot.

He looked down at his chest as her hand covered the mark. He was not sure.
''I do not know. I still fear finding out I have hurt you, or worse. I do not know what to do'' he hung his head slightly.
''I could have killed you yesterday'' he said, ashamed.

"But you didn't. I got away." she dipped her head and move her hand, placing there her lips instead. "We will work this out. And don't think about last night. Dwelling on what happened then will not help us in the here and now or in the future." she spoke gently, but firmly.

''Le hannon''
He could think of no other words to say. She was still with him, that was what mattered. He could never thank her enough.
''Nienna...''
He began to drift off into a light sleep, dreamless at first but then he saw what he had been dreading. Once again he found himself before a cloaked figure.
''Show yourself'' Niko shouted, moving towards the figure only to find he was still tied. Nienna came up behind him and as she did a gust of wind followed her, blowing the figures hood down.
He saw a man, who looked familiar. Elthor? Yet it wasn't, he had been killed by Nienna. He resembled Elthor but was younger in years and looked more wild than Elthor. His brother?
Niko woke with a cry, trembling.

She smiled. "You are welcome." he drifted off to sleep then. She caressed his face. He was fidgeting in his sleep, and she got an idea. Her eyes glowed gold and she placed herself in his dream. He was there, but so was a hooded figure.
"Show yourself!" Niko had cried, and she came up behind him, and sent a gust of wind to blow the person's hood down. She gasped. He looked like Elthor! That was impossible! She killed him! The man was most definitely a sorcerer, she could see it in his eyes. He was wild. and evil. Before she could attack the figure, Niko woke with a cry, sending her mind out of his, and she held him close. "I know...I saw him too. I'm here." she whispered as she held him. This was serious. If he was any relation to Elthor, he would want revenge. And the way he was doing it would bring them both pain, as Elrhor would have wanted and planned. It was he who brought Elthor back as a shade! It dawned on her swiftly. This was getting dangerous.

He was in a cold sweat as he woke. Who was he? What had he done to Niko?
His breathing began to rise, as he panicked.
''He wishes you dead'' gasped. He tried to slow his breathing but it was proving difficult.They were up against black magic.
''Ale.. please''

"I know." she whispered As she brought the ale back to his lips. Her lips tightened into a grim line. Her worst fears were confirmed. as he drank she dabbed at his forehead with a cool cloth. This was no small matter, they were up against something so terrible and evil. She was afraid. In fact, she was terrified, she had no idea how to deal with it.

He drank the ale and then spoke.
''What are we to do?''
He was scared, for the both of them.They had no idea what they were up against. He needed her to be safe.

She shook her head slowly. "I don't know. But I'm the only one of us who knows magic." she couldn't meet his gaze. She was the only one of them that could fight. But how would she fight? She had no idea.
