He looked at her and let out another rare smile. ''It is a nice change, to see you in such a dress.'' Leading her out of the shop he began to scan the streets, looking for anything they may need. ''Is there anything you have a need to buy before we depart?''

She blushed and dropped her gaze. "Thank you." she followed him "No, I do not need anything, thank you." she kept her eyes down. Why did he compliment her so? She was so confused. When she thought of the kiss, then what they shared after, her mind whirled. It was unclear as to how it happened or why he kissed her.

''If you are sure then we may leave'' He took her hand and began walking, making sure both of their hoods were up. Where would they go? He wasn't sure, but he knew that they had to get away from here. There was the path that led out of town, he guessed they would follow it for a while and then see what happened.

The assurance of his hand holding hers was comforting. "Why do you do it? Why do you hold my hand?" she was curious. He just seemed so...hard...she really had no idea why he started acting so around her. Sure, the night before had been...amazing...but every man wanted to enjoy a woman. But...she shook her head "Oh, stop it Eonwe, you fool." she muttered to herself.

He pondered their question as they walked and spoke, in the same hushed voice he used when he was not sure how to form his words. ''Because I wish to'' was what he managed to say.

She blinked and nodded, then dropped her head again. She should not have asked, she thought to herself. They kept walking, and her eyes went all around then, taking in the sights. It was beautiful. She had hardly ever been outside the castle gates, and the landscape just took her breath away. She looked at the sky, surprised at how long they had been traveling. She had hardly noticed.

They had been walking for a time, it had gotten dark. "Shall we stop?" He feared she would be exhausted, and they had been travelling for miles without aid of horses.

"If you want to." she was a bit tired, but she could do whatever he wanted. She looked around while she waited for a response. She had never dreamed the would be doing this, and she half wondered if she was foolish for it.

He nodded and quickly checked for anyone following them, there was no one he could see. Sitting down he rested his back on a tree and tried to relax as best he could, it was too risky to build a fire so he pulled his cloak tighter around him.

She looked at the small blanket in her hands, then back at him. She was small enough her cloak would cover her. His body, though, was too bulky for the whole cloak to cover him. She opened her blanket up and without a word she set it over him, then went to a tree that was two over from where he sat. She sat down against it, and wrapped the cloak about her. She looked up at the sky, and was quite frightened. She had never ever slept outside of the castle gates. It was all new to her.

He looked her as she set her blanket on him, unsure of what to say, he nodded gratefully. Sensing her fear he spoke. "Tell me of yourself" he found he was curious about her, wanting to find out more.

"a...about me? There's really nothing..." she honestly didn't know what to tell him. He already knew her birthright. "I was sold into slavery when I was twelve years old, been there till the present." she paused, what else did he wish to know? "I love animals...and dancing." she laughed slightly "It seems whenever I dance it is the only time I am not clumsy."

Dancing? He had not expected such an answer. He gave her another small smile "Dancing is a noble art". She was not what he expected, at all$

She looked down "It's not an art to me, it's more than that. Something that can set your spirit free..." she stopped when she realized how stupid she sounded. "What of yourself?"

He was not sure what to say as she asked, he looked at the floor and spoke, as if reading from the ground. "I was taken from my home when I was young, brought up here as a slave and trained to fight. I know nothing of my family, only knowing the blood and toil of the arena." He stopped, not sure what else she wished to know.

"I am sorry. It is an unfortunate thing that happenedto you." she said with quiet sincerity. She couldn't imagine not knowing anything of her family. She shivered at the thought and pulled the cloak around her for better protection.
