He laughed at her words and clenched his teeth at the pain, yet at the next instant the pain in his arm had left him. Moving his arm he felt nothing! He reached down and pulled her into a kiss in thanks.
He sat up, his chest still hurting slightly, he looked down to see it was red from when he slammed onto it while grabbing Nienna.
''It seems my chest always suffers'' he said with a laugh as he began to move slowly to the bed.

"But at least it is still intact!" she helped him to the bed, and then to lay down. She broughtthe bottle of ale to his lips. "Next time, don't hurt yourself so." she whispered to him as she stroked his face.

''If i hadn't I would be peeling you from the ground outside''.
He was serious, she had almost fallen to her death. It was the second time Elanor had tried to take her from him.
''Love, please lock the door'' he said, half joking half serious. He would feel better knowing they wouldn't be disturbed.

She smiled and complied, locking all the doors before returning to him with a cool cloth. She began to bathe his chest. "I don't know that I like high places that much anymore..." she muttered while she kept her gaze focused on his chest.

As she returned and began to tend to his chest he began to breathe easier.
''I believe my tongue can prove otherwise'' he said with a sly smile. He was feeling slightly better. He took her hand from his chest and kissed it.
''Thank you, angel.''

She almost slapped him playfully, but remembered he was in pain. As he kissed her hand, she smiled wryly "You're lucky you're in pain, Husband dear." she giggled.

''Aye. If only Elena could come and tend to me...'' he smirked up at her.
He laughed, hurting his chest slightly and looked up at her, wondering if he would get away with that one.

She pinched the tip of his nose before getting up and taking the cloth with her. "You'll be sleeping in here alone if you keep that up. Oh! And the door'll be unlocked." she smirked at him again.

''It wouldn't be unlocked. I would lock it as soon as you left.'' he joked.
He turned to face her, a slight smirk on his face as well as he took a swig of ale from the bedside table.

"Not if I take the lock off the door..." she moved towards the door, grinning. She stopped and turned her back to him, and, upon it being dark she could not see what tools she had to use on the door. She bent lower over the table, seeing what she could use.

He smirked, thinking he was getting the better of her, yet as she bent down to search for tools he knew he was far behind.
He felt his desire for her return and he let out a groan. He was exhausted yet he wanted her.
''You are cruel''

She was clueless, and she turned only her head to glance behind her. "For threatening to take the lock away?" one eyebrow went up in her confusion.

He rolled his eyes.
''Yes'' he replied sarcastically. ''For the lock''
Niko had to turn away, he needed to get his mind onto something else, yet it was proving difficult.

She still didn't get it. She laughed, knowing that she had won either way, then walked out to the spacious balcony where the wind, like a loyal dog, came to her and seemingly blew all around her as if looking for injuries. She laughed slightly as the wind caressed her cheek, then played with her hair.

Niko only lay there as she moved to the balcony. He grabbed some ale and drank, trying to relax himself as best he could. As he turned to look at her he noticed how the wind moved around her as if by her will without even question. He couldn't deny that it was intimidating at times.

She turned slightly to look out over the balcony in the other direction, and closed her eyes, tilting her head back as the wind blew a bit stronger. A peaceful smile formed on her face. She turned and walked back inside. She leaned over and grabbed her night shift.
