She grabbed him and pulled him down with her, then rolled over on top of him. "I need to repay you for your earlier attitude." she began to tickle him mercilessly, going for his belly and sides.

''What earlier attitude?'' he managed to gasp, he resumed squirming, desperately trying to get away.

She laughed wickedly "You love my cooking and you know it! If you ever insult my cooking again you'll be sorrier than you are now!" she teased, but half serious about her cooking. She increased her tickling. "I, as your queen, expect an apology!" she continued her tickling but leaned her face withing inches of his.

After he could not take it any longer he cried out.

She stopped immediately, leaning down and kissing him. "Now that wasn't so hard, was it?" she grinned before getting off him. "That'll teach you." she sent him a lopsided grin.

As he heard her words and realized she was right, an involuntary smile came up on his face. He pushed it away and tried to look as serious as possible.
''We shall see about that.'' He had almost added ''peasant'' to the end of the sentence but thought better of it.

He looked at her and decided to bide his time to get her back.
Smiling he took her hand and grabbed a bottle of ale with the other before leading her down the stairs towards the door. A walk would do them both good.
