Thoril noticed her arms, but made no acknowledgement of them. He looked at Callie, sadened by the fact that she could not bring herself to look at him. He took in her appearance. She looked miserable. He frowned deeply. Silently he opened his arms to her.

She gladly went into his arms, holding him tightly as she felt more tears coming. She buried her face in his chest, not making a sound, just silent tears falling from her eyes.

Thoril closed his arms around her silently. He carefully walked into her room with her, closing the door behind them. He crossed over to her bed and sat down with her. His hand moved in soothing circles on her back. He decided to let her cry in peace. She had enough on her mind without trying to be strong in front of him.

She held onto him, not knowing exactly why he was doing this, but she knew she needed it. For once, she could let herself have some comfort. She was angry, frightened, more like terrified, and worried. She the blinked. No, she realized she couldn't have some comfort. Callie had to just get over it. She held her breath, trying to stop the tears.

Thoril remained at her side. He could sense her gathering her composure and strength. He knew this moment was not going to last forever. He waited even still. He simply held her until her tears stopped. When they did he pulled back offering her a small smile.

She blinked as he pulled back, and she realized he had not even wanted to be up here. "i'm sorry..." she turned her gaze away from him. How awkward that must have been for him. She got up and picked up her sword, preparing to let off steam at the training grounds.

"There is no need for you to apologise." Thoril said softly. He watched her curiously. "I do not think that would be a good idea. I think we should leave stepping out until we can be sure Eodain is really gone."

(Is Rhavaniel still wanting to rp here? I realise we have kind of taken over hehe)

(I don't know..I've been waitin for her to jump in... I miss her :()

Her shoulders slumped and she nodded, keeping her red face away from him. How embarrassing...she looked down at her arms disgustedly and began to roughly roll her sleeves down.

(Well i've sent her a private message. I know she works alot though.)

"Better safe than sorry," he murmured quietly. He noticed her shoulders fall. She was like a bird trapped in a cage. He frowned deeply. "I will give you some time to yourself. Let you gather your thoughts." Said Thoril as he stood and made his way to her bedroom door.

"Thoril?" when he turned, she met his gaze. "Thank you, for everything." she said it in a dead serious voice. And she was serious about it. She looked down as he left and flopped on the bed. She had to get out of there. She would go mad if she couldn't. The steam she needed to blow off was too much to stuff away at the moment. She looked at the tree outside the window. Tree outside the window? She quickly grabbed her cloak and sword and slipped silently out of the window, onto the tree, then when she was on the ground she was off and running for the grounds.

(doh! She's kinda dumb at times...)

Thoril retired to his bedroom. He packed his things and set his bag beside the door. He would have to purchase a new jacket in the morning. He slumped onto his body. He had never been so tired in all his life. He fell into a deep, but restless sleep.

She practiced furiously on the scarecrow they called a practice dummy. How had he found her? Why now? Then, she saw him, grinning at her, and her rage boiled over. He drew his sword, and she stood at the ready. After a long battle, and several wounds to herself, she finally defeated him. He went slinking off, and she stumbled back to the Inn. Climbing up the tree and back inside, she dressed her wounds, then fell asleep.

Thoril dressed himself and walked downstairs, through the inn and out the front door. He walked briskly to the market place. He purchased the best coat he could find. Pleased with his purchase he returned to the inn to have a spot of breakfast.

Callie moaned when she woke up, sore. She had received a gash to her middle. Not as superficial as she would have liked, but it along with her other wounds would heal. Thankfully they could be hidden with clothes. She splashed cold water on her face, changed her badages and clothes, then made the slow an painful journey to the downstairs. Her stomach rumbled in anticipation, and she grinned. It was easy for her to not show pain on her face.
