Yeah, do you think thy'll be a referendum? I don't know, i'v completly lost faith in any form of goverment. I mean i wouldn't prefere the alternative. But i feel my vote makes no diffrence. On the other hand that may just be becuase i so happen to live in Camerons home constituency so it was never gonna make a diffrence what i voted.

I'm old now, can I join? xD

Can't believe I'm going to be 19 in about a month. o.O I still don't really feel like a grown-up, you know. Maybe because I'm still living with my parents...I'm working full-time though! Training to be an assistant manager at a pizza place. Yay. My dream job. ...Not really. I want to work as an artist one day. Right now though, just saving up. Hopefully this fall I'll be going to a leadership training program-y thing at a church in Colorado.

Anyways, I can't help but think that if I applied the same devotion and work ethic to my artwork as I did at work, I'd have a much better portfolio already. What am I doing here? I should be painting.

I wish so many people wouldn't confuse being wonder struck and being naive. Yes, I've seen a million gorgeous sunsets - that doesn't make them any less gorgeous! And the vulnerability...this last year I have been learning how to let me walls down, so to speak, and to be genuine and real with the people I trust - it sure is risky to wear one's heart on one's sleeve, but it also lets you connect with people in such a deep and real way, I say it's worth it.

Wonder does not equal naive.
Kindness does not equal stupidity.
Cynical does not equal wise.
And having all the independence in the world, living in your own house, or any college degree does not equal maturity.

I see so many who cannot appreciate the stunning beauty in the "simplicity" of nature. When my husband first married me he thought it silly when I thought the way a single leaf curled or the light hit a lichen-covered branch was silly. "It's just a tree" "It's just wood" he'd say. From my perspective I thought it sad he couldn't have an imagination or see the wonders of creation- and guess what? Three years later he's starting to point out a few things that "would please you to see, Dear"- and pointing them out to our toddler.

I'll be graduating ina split second... or well, not literally but compared to how many years I've been going to school, studied, taken classes, had exams.. and very soon it will be over. This is scary! Life as a student is the only life I know so it's very difficult to say what I'll be doing afterwards. And then again I guess it's pretty much written in the stars that I'll get a job that I hate or like and continue my life as always!! Yeah, it sounds boring, right.. but it won't be boring. It all depends on the perspective of things. If I won't find fulfilment in my job, I'm sure I'll find it elsewhere in my time off, with friends and family or something exciting hobbies.
My dream job? I've never really thought of it... something that's flexible and has an appreciative environment.. and fun.. yeah, fun is important.. I hope my future co-workers and managers have a sense of humour and a positive attitude. Oh and I want to be able to live off of the pay too! I used to dream about being an actress - which I still do - but I decided I was too shy for it... and not interested enough perhaps.
