[Haha I try!!! ] Megan listened to Legolas and then nodded, quickly hurrying back to where they had been previously. She stayed close to him and kept her eyes open, hoping that she would find the Hobbits and her best friend. She didn't want to lose any of them. Especially Ara-Allison. She was slowly starting to forget her best friend's real name? What the heck was going on? Swallowing hard, she finally saw what was going on. Boromir was talking to Frodo about the Ring. She knew that it probably wouldn't end well at all. Frodo looked completely uncomfortable, but she stayed back with Legolas. She didn't want to interfere. This wasn't their fight. For some reason, she felt like it needed to happen. She wasn't sure why, though. Again, frustration set in. ---------- Frodo listened to what Boromir said to him and then shook his head, putting his hand over his chest; where the Ring was placed underneath his shirt. He backed up slowly with Arabella and listened to what she said to him. He took a shaky breath and started feeling darkness take over him slightly, due to the Ring speaking to him. He closed his eyes for a couple seconds and then saw Boromir glare at him. "I command you, Frodo. Give me the Ring!" He forced and Frodo shook his head again. When Frodo denied Boromir of the Ring again, he got angered and then reached for the necklace; hoping the chain would break and he would get the Ring. But, Frodo quickly backed away and upsettingly put the Ring on his finger; disappearing from all sight. Except from Sauron. He hurried toward where the boats had been docked and decided what he wanted to do. He wanted to continue the journey alone. ---------- Boromir stared at where Frodo had previously been and then instantly felt grief strike him, when he realized what he had just done. He took a deep breath and shook his head, before hearing Aragorn, Gimli and Sam come toward them. Aragorn knew what had just taken place. He stared at Boromir harshly and then shook his head. "Watch over Merry and Pippin. I will search for Frodo." He said sternly and then hurried away, not even waiting for Boromir to agree.

Allison felt part of her heart break as Frodo put the Ring on, vanishing completely from her sight. "No!" she screamed, feeling it was her fault somehow. If she'd been thinking clearly, she could have done a Shield spell, protecting Frodo from Boromir, she could have taken him and run away, she could have done something to prevent it. If she'd been thinking.
If she'd remembered.
"No!" she cried again. "Don't you dare leave me, Frodo Baggins, don't you dare!"
But he was already gone. Where, she did not know.
She saw Sam and ran to him, taking hold of his hand. "Sam!" she cried. "We have to find Frodo. Please," she pleaded. "Please, help me find him. Please stay with me."
-------------
Once Frodo vanished, Legolas rounded on Boromir. "We swore to protect them!" he shouted in the man's face. "Did those oaths mean nothing to you! Your race is more corrupt than I feared." He shook his head. "No, I cannot blame this on all Men. But you, Boromir," he said, "you disappoint me more than I can say. You've betrayed us all, and now Frodo is lost--"
He froze, hearing noises deep in the forest.

Megan gasped a bit and her eyes widened, when she saw what had occured. Boromir had tried to take the Ring from Frodo and Frodo got scared; disappearing because of the Ring. She swallowed hard and then watched as Legolas lost his temper, by what events took place. She bit her lower lip and then rested her hand on his arm, carefully. "Melamin... I will go stay here with Boromir, Pippin and Merry. You go with Sam, Arabella, Gimli and Aragorn to find Frodo. Cormamin niuve tenna' ta elea lle au'." She whispered softly to him and looked into his eyes. She swallowed hard and then stopped what she was saying.
Standing up straight, she heard noises from not too far off that made her ears twitch slightly. It was Orcs and Uruk-Hai. She swallowed hard and then looked to Arabella, Sam and Legolas quickly. "Asca, Legolas!" She said to him with urgency and then got out her bow and arrow, steadying it. She knew that she would be okay.
Merry, Pippin and Boromir all drew their swords quickly, knowing that it was indeed time for battle. She looked over to them and nodded once, before giving one last glance to Legolas; her eyes full of love.
------------
Frodo ran as fast as he could toward the boats and once he got there, he quickly took the Ring off of his finger; hiding it back beneath his shirt. He had heard Arabella's cries and it killed him inside, but this was something that he had to do. He was ruining the Fellowship by being there. He couldn't do that to them anymore.
Quickly getting into the boat, he grabbed an oar and started to row away from shore. He was panting heavily already due to the running, but the rowing was making his breathing heavier. He looked over his shoulder to the shore and made out two figures running toward him. He squinted his eyes slightly, to make out who they were.
Could it be?
[Melamin - My love.
Cormamin niuve tenna' ta elea lle au' - My heart shall weep until it sees thee again.
Asca- Hurry!]

(OOoh, I know what's gonna happen...anyway, I have callback auditions at 9 o'clock my time--just for dance, which means they want me for the chorus, which shouldn't take too long. I'll be back within an hour of leaving. Just letting you know! Incidentally, where do you get your Elvish translations? I've been looking everywhere for them!) Sam had readily agreed to her request, for which Allison was grateful. "Come on, Miss Arabella!" he had cried before the two of them had raced off through the forest, calling Frodo's name desperately. Legolas and Aragorn followed with Gimli trailing behind, but the frightened Hobbits soon got ahead of their bigger companions. Allison stopped, looking around helplessly, before an idea struck her. "The boats!" she cried, looking to Sam. "Come on!" Somehow, in her heart, she knew that's where Frodo would be. "Frodo!" she shouted when they saw him, starting to paddle away. She ran straight into the water and dove under once it reached her waist, pleased that she was such a strong swimmer. The water was so cold it froze her lungs, making her entire body seem heavy and unwilling to move, but she forced herself to keep swimming until she reached him. ------------- Legolas shot Amara one last longing look before following Aragorn into the forest in search of Frodo. Sam and Arabella, driven mad by worry, had already hurried away, and if he didn't act quickly, he was going to lose them as well. "I love you," he whispered before following Estel and Gimli, leaving Amara behind. It didn't take them long to lose the Hobbits in the underbrush, and Legolas mentally cursed his own stupidity. "We must help the others," he told Estel. "We cannot risk breaking the Fellowship even more. We can search for the others later. Arabella will be able to hold her own against whatever she may come up against, and it is likely that Sam and Frodo are with her. Once the danger is past, we can search for them again." He glanced back. "We cannot abandon them." (Feel free to take over Aragorn for a bit if you wish!)

[Alright, good luck with your dancing! And I got my translations from this helpful site! http://www.grey-company.org/Circle/language/phrase.htm] Megan watched as Legolas left with the others and then took a shaky breath. She knew that she had to do this. For Frodo, for the Fellowship and for the Ring. She looked ahead and right as she did, the Uruk-Hai came charging in toward them. "ATTACK!" She yelled to Boromir and the Hobbits, knowing that she had to protect the little ones more than herself. She shot her arrows in the blink of an eye, killing a little over half of the raid that had swarmed around them. Merry and Pippin were holding their own for now and Megan made sure to show them where to hide. She pointed to a big bush, where they hid from the evil that surrounded them. Megan nodded once and then fought alongside Boromir. She was panting heavily, growing weary of how many were coming. Standing her ground, six different Uruk-Hai surrounded her in a circle, but she didn't waste any time. She just let her arrows fly, killing each one of them. She motioned to Boromir to blow his horn. They needed help and fast. Boromir nodded to Amara and then sliced down the last Uruk-Hai around him, before quickly grabbing hold of his horn; blowing into it hard. The sound was loud and clear. They would hear. She just knew it. Suddenly, one of the largest Uruk-Hai's that Megan had ever seen appeared from out of the wood. He must be the leader... She thought to herself, as it gained closer toward Boromir. "NO!" She yelled, as she shot many arrows at it to get its attention. It didn't die. Her eyes went wide, as it headed toward her and grabbed her by the neck; lifting her off of her feet and eye level to it. "The Master has been looking for you..." It hissed at her, the smell of foulness filling her nose in the process. She gagged and then threw her on the ground, having her body crash against a large rock. "Take her..." It yelled to some of the Orcs and they picked her up and took off. Just then, the leader Uruk-Hai looked over to Boromir, who was starting to run toward him angrily. The Uruk-Hai smirked a bit and then got out its bow and arrow, shooting Boromir multiple times. Boromir proved a mighty opponent, because it had taken quite a few arrows to send him down. Merry and Pippin gasped, as they watched in horror what had happened to Amara and then to Boromir. "No!" They both shouted with wide eyes and then ended up getting grabbed by some of the Orcs, as well. They left kicking and screaming, while the rest of the Uruk-Hai and Orcs went to find Gimli, Aragorn and Legolas. -------- Frodo heard his name being called and saw that Arabella and Sam were chasing after him. "What are you doing?! Go back!" He said, shooing them away in pain. He couldn't allow them to follow him to where he had to go. Not them. Not his Arabella and his Sam. They were the most important people to him. But, when he saw Arabella and Sam jump into the water and swim toward him, he knew that there was no turning back now. There was no telling them to leave. He watched in horror as Sam struggled to stay above water. "SAM!" He yelled, hoping to the Valar that he wouldn't drown. So, he hurried and rowed his way back; helping Arabella in along the way. He took off his cloak and wrapped it around her small shoulders, before reaching into the water and pulling Sam into the boat. "What are you guys doing?" He asked, upset. He couldn't believe that they had followed him. Or even knew where he was, for that matter. ------- Aragorn was about to reply to what Legolas had said and then heard Boromir's horn. He looked to his companions with wide eyes and then unsheathed his sword. "Come... Let us help our friends!" He said and then hurried back to where he had left the two Hobbits, Boromir and Amara. When he got there, it wasn't good. Boromir was lying on the ground almost dead and the Hobbits and Amara were nowhere in sight. He knew that this would greatly burden Legolas' heart. But, now was not the time to grieve. They had more enemy to kill. "FOR THE FELLOWSHIP!" He yelled and then started killing whatever evil was closest to him.

(Back! To quote Phantom of the Opera, my dancing was a lamentable mess. XD And thanks for the website, I'll definitely use it!)
The coldness of the water numbed her mind, making it impossible to think, to breathe. The only thing she knew how to do anymore was to keep going forward, so she did, until she felt Frodo grab her and haul her into the little boat. Her teeth chattered as she shivered violently as Frodo wrapped his cloak around her, before going to help Sam into the boat. Allison watched in horror as Sam's head went under--she couldn't believe that he had gone in the mighty river without being able to swim!
"W-we're going with you, o-of course!" she stammered, her teeth still chattering as she answered Frodo's question. Tears were streaming down her cheeks, and she noticed that Frodo and Sam were crying as well.
"I made a promise, Mr. Frodo," Sam said. "A promise. 'Don't you lose them, Samwise Gamgee.'" Allison looked at him, surprised that she had been included in his promise to Gandalf. "And I don't mean to," the brave Hobbit continued. "I don't mean to."
"Nor do I," said Allison.
-----------
Something snapped inside of Legolas when he saw that the Uruks had taken Amara and the Hobbits. The battle flew by in a blur, the face of his beloved the only thing on his mind. Estel and Gimli fought just as fiercely. He fought as if Amara was still right by his side, as if she was guiding and protecting him even as he did the same to her. I will find you, my beloved, he vowed as he felled two more orcs. And I will make them pay.
When the orcs were all slaughtered, he hurried to Boromir, who still lay gasping for breath. "Where are they?" he asked, concerned. Boromir's treachery was no longer on his mind.
Boromir looked up at him. "They took them," he managed to say.

[Welcome back! I'm sure that you didn't do horribly! You probably did awesome and you just don't want to realize it. And you're welcome! It's a cool site. BTW... I can't really use Megan, Pippin or Merry now. They're all practically unconscience. Haha.] Boromir gasped a bit, while trying to fight for his life; which was hanging on by a thread. He swallowed hard, tasting his own blood in his mouth while laying on the ground in pain. Aragorn hurried over to Boromir and cradled him in his arms. "They took the little ones." Boromir mumbled a bit, reassuring himself that they were actually gone. Aragorn sighed and looked down into his brother's arms. "Be still." He said to him softly, trying his hardest to comfort him. "Frodo, where is Frodo?" Boromir asked, scared that something terrible had happened to the carrier of the Ring. The Ring that they had seeked out to destroy. "I let Frodo go." Aragorn reassured him, holding him a little closer to him. Boromir shook his head a bit, in shame. "Then you did what I could not. I tried to take the Ring from him..." He said sadly, feeling complete regret for what he had done earlier on. The last thing that Frodo would remember him by. Aragorn shushed him a bit. "The Ring is beyond our reach now." Aragorn looked up to Gimli for a few moments and then looked back down to Boromir, who was speaking again. "Forgive me, I did not see it. I have failed you all." Aragorn smiled a little to Boromir and shook his head in order to let him see that he was wrong. "No, Boromir, you fought bravely! You have kept your honor." He said softly and then reached to grab one of the arrows from within his friend's body. Boromir quickly grabbed his hand and stared at him. "Leave it! It is over. The world of men will fall, and all will come to darkness... and my city to ruin." Aragorn sighed and looked down at the arrows for a few moments. "I do not know what strength is in my blood, but I swear to you I will not let the white city fall, nor our people fail!" He said in a stern voice, as if making Boromir realize what he was saying to him. Boromir looked at him a little strangely, as if trying to understand what he had just said. He was fading quickly. "Our people? Our people... I would have followed you my brother, my captain, my king!" Then, as quickly as he spoke, he was gone. Aragorn's heart became heavier then. "Be at peace, son of Gondor." He said softly and then kissed Boromir's forehead, before closing his eyes with his fingertips gently. He stood up from his spot and looked over to Legolas and Gimli, solemnly. "We must give him a proper burial, before moving forward." He added. -------- Frodo had finally gotten Sam inside the boat as well and stared at the both of them; not believing what he was seeing. He heard what they both had to say and then smiled to the both of them lovingly. They were both so amazing to him. They had more strength than most people saw; than THEY saw. He hugged the both of them tightly and let his hug with Arabella last a little longer. Sam put himself at liberty to row the boat toward the other island across from the one that they had previously been at. He knew that they had to go another way and Frodo had been headed that way anyway.

(Aww, thanks! We'll just have to see! The cast list goes up tomorrow at 3 PM. Still think I did badly though. I added extra arm movements by accident when there wasn't any. ) Allison held on to Frodo for as long as she dared, not wanting to break the embrace. To break it would be to break the spell, to have to continue on the rest of their journey. And that thought terrified her. 'Have courage, Arabella,' came a voice in her head. It sounded awfully like...Gandalf. You are stronger than you know. Protect your friends, and never lose hope. With a teary smile, she released Frodo, and Sam started to row them towards the eastern shore. She turned, looking out towards their destination. Suddenly, she gasped. "My spellbook! The book Lady Galadriel gave me!" The book had fallen into the river when Frodo had pulled them into the boat, and now the force of the current was carrying it towards the falls of Rauros. Allison tried to reach for it, but failed. "Oh no..." she whispered. 'You know what to do,' came Gandalf's voice again before it faded. Arabella felt it would be a while before she heard it again. Closing her eyes in concentration, she reached out a hand towards the precious book. "Tolo hi," she commanded. Opening her eyes, she watched in wonder as the current changed around the book, a small wave bringing it towards her until it bumped into the side of their boat. Slowly, she reached for it and held it on her lap, almost too shocked to speak. Then, slowly, she looked up at Frodo, still shivering and wearing his cloak over hers. "You were right," she whispered. ----------------- First Mithrandir, now Boromir, and with all the Hobbits and his beloved vanished without a trace. Surely this was not the outcome Lord Elrond had envisioned when he had sent them on their long journey. As he watched Boromir leave them, he closed his eyes and said a prayer to the Valar, to ease his passing into the Halls of Mandos. At Estel's words, he nodded as an idea struck him. "Send him over the falls," he said, glancing back towards where they had came, where the boats still lay out of reach of the trees. "A burial fit for a king. Something tells me that is what he would have wanted."

[Shall we do a time skip to where they meet up with Eomer and the Rohirrim? I think that would be good!]
Aragorn had laid on the ground temporarily with his eyes closed and his ear pressed to the ground, in order to listen for the sound of footsteps in the distance. "Their pace has quickened..." He then looked up to Legolas and Gimli, before standing back up. "They must have caught our scent. Hurry!" He added, before starting to run off. Gimli paused in his steps and then huffed, tiredly. "Three days and nights pursuit. No food. No rest. And no sign of our quarry but what bare rock can tell." Gimli said, before running after his companions, tiredly.
The Three Hunters ran across rocks and plains, with Aragorn in the lead, followed by Legolas and Gimli. From time to time, Aragorn would look back to make sure that Gimli is keeping up. He suddenly bent down to pick up an Elven brooch from the ground. "Not idly do the leaves of Lórien fall." He said softly to Legolas and then looked over to him.
He then started running again for a bit of a way, then stopped dead in his tracks, looking down on a hill that overlooked plains. "Rohan. Home of the horse-lords. There is something strange at work here. Some evil gives speed to these creatures, sets its will against us." He muttered almost to himself, before sighing deeply.
They were getting close.
----------
Frodo, Sam and Arabella had set off toward Mordor on their own. They had no idea what exactly they were getting into or where they were going, but they had to get there. And they had to do so fast.
Awaking from a dream with a gasp, Frodo sat up from his spot with wide eyes before hearing Sam behind him. "What is it, Mr. Frodo?" He asked softly, hoping that his best friend was alright. Frodo looked over his shoulder for a few moments and then sighed, looking down. "Nothing. Just a dream." He mumbled and then laid back down in his spot, uncomfortably.
After a while more of resting, Frodo, Sam and Arabella climbed over the rocky terrain of Emyn Muil. Sam looked into the distance with Frodo at the Mountain of Fire. "Mordor. The one place in Middle-earth we don’t want to see any closer, and the one place we’re trying to get to. It’s just where we can’t get. Let’s face it, Mr. Frodo, we’re lost. I don’t think Gandalf meant for us to come this way." He said sadly and looked over to his best friend. Frodo sighed and looked to Sam and Arabella. "He didn’t mean for a lot of things to happen, Sam... but they did." He then felt something. He quickly looked up and saw the Eye zooming in on him. He gasped and panted as he backed away.
"Mr. Frodo? It’s the Ring, isn’t it?" Sam cried out to Frodo, scared. He hurried over to his friend's side and held onto him, looking to Arabella nervously. "It’s getting heavier." He said softly and clutched the Ring by his chest and sat down, still panting. He then fumbled for his water flask and took a sip.
-------
Megan slowly woke up and realized that it was nightfall. She raised an eyebrow and then winced, holding onto her head. It was hurting, for some reason. She swallowed hard and noticed that she was laying on the ground, completely surrounded by Orc and Uruk-Hai. They had taken her! She quickly looked over and saw Merry and Pippin unconscience still. She gasped a bit and unnoticeably crawled over to them. "Merry! Pippin!" She whispered to them harshly, trying to nudge them with her bound hands.

(Last post for tonight, I'm afraid! I'm super tired and it's also reeeeeeeeeeally cold in my dorm room tonight, so I'm off to bed! ) Allison awoke with a start at the sound of Frodo's panicked voice, looking around wildly for any sign of danger. She had been on edge ever since the Fellowship had broken, and she was sure her friends had noticed it. She couldn't explain it when they asked her, she was only able to say that she felt that their friends were in grave danger. Emyn Muil was even worse than Gimli had led them to believe. The terrain was rocky and difficult to cross on, and the entire place was like a never-ending maze. Allison searched through her spellbook when Sam pointed out that they were lost, hoping frantically for some sort of map pressed between the pages, but found nothing. Some gift from the Lady of Light, she thought, somewhat bitterly. Gimli can go on about her beauty and goodness for days, but all she did was break my heart by making me look in that mirror and see my family die and give me a spellbook that I can barely use. When Frodo fell, Allison rushed to his side, abandoning the book for a moment. She felt his forehead with one hand while holding onto his hand with the other, trying to think of some way to help him. A healing spell wouldn't work, of course--where could she possibly heal him, his heart? She looked into his eyes sadly. "I'm so sorry," she whispered. ---------------- Legolas raced up the hill, looking out to the horizon. The group of Uruks ran with almost unimaginable speed, but he knew in his heart that they were gaining on them--that Amara and the Hobbits were close. He followed their path with his eyes, trying to spot where they were headed. "The Uruks turned northeast!" he called to Estel. Suddenly, his eyes widened as he realized the implications. "They're taking them to Isengard!" he cried. Isengard, home of Saruman. If they made it there, all hope would be lost. He turned, meeting Estel's eyes. "We must find them before it is too late." --------- Pippin groaned softly. His skull felt like it had been hit repeatedly with something large and heavy, a hundred times worse than the many mornings he had woken up after drinking too much. When he opened his eyes, his vision was blurry, but he could make out the outline of a familiar figure close to him. "Amara!" he whispered, before turning to nudge Merry, who did not respond right away. "Merry! It's Amara! She's awake!"

[Aw, it's all good! We'll talk tomorrow! I work from 12:14 pm to 6:15pm. So, I'll try and reply as best as I can, in between those times. Have a good sleep! I'll have good elf dreams, because I'm watching RotK, as we speak! <3] Once Megan had gotten Pippin's attention, she smiled weakly to him and watched as he tried to wake Merry up. She bit her lip and took a shaky breath, knowing that they were in the worst of dangers. She looked around and knew where they were headed for some reason... To Isengard. She needed to think fast. She then noticed that Merry opened his eyes, finally. He smiled to the both of them and then sat up a bit, looking down. 'I think... we might have made a mistake leaving the Shire, Pippin." He mumbled and then sighed deeply. Suddenly, a group of Orcs chopped down some of the trees nearby for firewood. Low groans and rumbles had started to emerge from the forest. "What’s making that noise?" Megan asked nervously and looked around, not knowing what was going on. Merry then looked toward the forest. "It's the trees." He said softly, making Pippin and Megan's eyes go wide. "What?" Pippin asked wildly. "Do you remember the Old Forest? On the borders of Buckland? Folk used to say that there was something in the water that made the trees grow tall... and come alive." Merry whispered, seeming as if he was telling a tale to the both of them. Megan stared at Merry and shook her head in disbelief. "Alive?" She asked softly, looking over to Fangorn Forest. "Trees that could whisper. Talk to each other. Even move." He whispered back. Suddenly, one of the Orcs, MAÚHUR spoke in the background. "I'm starving. We ain't 'ad nothin' but maggoty bread for three stinkin' days!" He whined and then another complained alongside him. One named SNAGA. "Yeah. Why can’t we have some meat?" His eyes then rested on the Hobbits and Megan. "What about them? They’re fresh." He licked his lips a bit and Megan's eyes widened, as did Merry and Pippin's. UGLÚK, one of the leader's of the Uruk-Hai glared at the two Orcs and pushed them away. "They are not for eating!" He snarled. Then another Orc came up and reached out a bit to the three companions. "What about their legs? They don't need those. Ooh… They look tasty!" Megan gasped a bit and then stayed close to her Hobbit friends. The leader then shoved at the Orcs again. "Get back, scum!" He yelled angrily. Megan could tell that he was losing his temper. The other Orcs started getting restless. "Carve them up!" One Orc from Mordor said in the background, but Megan couldn't see who it had been. Snaga, one of the other Orcs started to move toward the Hobbits and Megan, with his blade drawn. "Just a mouth full." He mumbled. The leader turned around and looked to Snaga hatefully. "No!" He shouted at him. Pippin, Merry and Megan recoiled in fright. Uglúk jumped on the Orc and cut off his head, which bounced off the Hobbit's shoulders and onto Megan's lap. She gasped and quickly took it off, tossing it aside out of disgust. Grinning, Uglúk looked around to the rest of the Orcs and Uruk-Hai, before stating, "Looks like meat’s back on the menu, boys!!" The Uruk-hai and Orcs cheered and started tearing into the fresh meat, intestines flying, taking their eyes off Megan and the Hobbits for a while. Megan than quickly turned to the Hobbits that she so loved. "Pippin, Merry... Let’s go." She whispered softly, in urgency. Their hands still bound, the Hobbits and Megan tried to crawl away. Suddenly a foot came down onto Merry and Pippin and both were turned onto their backs. Megan looked over to what was happening with wide eyes, not knowing what to do. It was GRISHNÁKH, brandishing a blade in front of Pippin’s face. "Go on, call for help. Squeal! No one’s gonna save you now!" He hissed. Suddenly, a spear pierced the Orc's back. Mayhem ensued as Riders of Rohan burst out from their hiding places and ambushed the Orcs and Uruk-Hai. "Pippin!" Merry and Megan exclaimed, while gesturing for all of them to make their escape. Megan and the Hobbits tried to escape from the pandemonium to the forest, dodging bodies and stomping feet. Suddenly, Pippin turned onto his face and looked up to a pair of thrashing hooves bearing down on him. He then screamed, as he saw his life flash before his eyes, "ARGH!!!" Megan quickly looked over to where she had seen what was happening to Pipping and glanced at Merry. "If anything happens to me, just run. Run as fast and swift as you can to Fangorn Forest." She whispered to him and he nodded, with wide eyes. She hurried over to Pippin, but before she could, she got hit by the hilt of a sword from an Orc. He then got killed shortly after by Eomer, who saw Megan laying there unconscience. He quickly got off of his horse and picked her up, bridal-style, before getting back onto her horse and holding onto her tightly. -------- Frodo sighed deeply and looked over Arabella's face, seeing the sadness in her eyes. He knew that it was because of him. "No... I'm sorry. This is all my fault." He said sadly and then looked down to the ground. Sam knew that they had to keep moving and be on their way. They couldn't just sit around anymore. So, after a bit of munching on some Lembas bread and relaxing, they continued trekking through the difficult terrain, often huddling underneath their cloaks. Sam looked around and made a face. "This looks strangely familiar." He said and then Frodo paid more attention, before looking to Sam exasperated. "It’s because we’ve been here before! We’re going in circles." He then shook his head and looked to Arabella, frustrated. "Ah! What's that 'orrid stink? I'll warrant there's a nasty bog nearby. Can you smell it?" He asked Frodo and Arabella, getting a look of disgust over his facial features. Frodo nodded in agreement with Sam and then sighed. "Yes. I can smell it." He said and then dropped into a whisper. "We’re not alone." ---------------- The three hunters continued to move swiftly over the rock and plains, knowing that they were close behind. The trackers had suddenly heard the sound of horses, so Aragorn and his company hid behind some of the boulders nearby. A large group of horse-men appeared, galloping quickly with their banners flying. Aragorn went out of hiding as they passed, followed by Legolas and Gimli; realizing that they were no foes. "Riders of Rohan, what news from the Mark?" He shouted loudly to the men. At a signal from Éomer at the lead, the riders made a quick turn and headed toward the company of three, surrounding them in ever-tightening circles. As they stopped, they pointed their long spears menacingly at them. "What business does an Elf, a man and a Dwarf have in the Riddermark? Speak quickly!" Éomer spat at them, highly curious as to why they were all there... And together. "Give me your name, Horsemaster, and I shall give you mine." Gimli spat back to Éomer and glared a bit, holding onto his axe securely. Éomer handed his staff to another rider, and got off his horse. Aragorn put a hand on Gimli’s shoulder, letting him know that what he had said was not good for them. Éomer walked toward Gimli slowly and glared a bit. "I would cut off your head, Dwarf, if it stood but a little higher from the ground." He hissed, in his own defense against the Dwarf's sharp tongue. Once Legolas and Éomer had their small tiff, the riders all pointed their spears closer at the travelers. After a tense moment, Aragorn pushed down Legolas’ arm. "I am Aragorn, son of Arathorn. This is Gimli, son of Glóin and Legolas of the Woodland realm. We are friends of Rohan and of Théoden, your king." Aragorn said mightily and without fear. Éomer stared at Aragorn for a few moments and then sighed. "Théoden no longer recognizes friend from foe," He then stopped talking to take off his helmet. "Not even his own kin." Once he finished speaking, the spears that had engulfed them suddenly were withdrawn. Aragorn looked to Éomer in a confused state, not knowing what it was that he was speaking of. "Saruman has poisoned the mind of the king and claimed lordship over these lands. My company are those loyal to Rohan. And for that, we are banished. The White Wizard is cunning. He walks here and there, they say, as an old man, hooded and cloaked. And everywhere his spies slip past our nets." He said upset and looked over the company of three. Aragorn shook his head and tried to reassure Éomer as best as he could. "We are not spies. We track a party of Uruk-Hai westward across the plain. They’ve taken three of our friends captive." He said softly and as calmly as he possibly could, but with a sound of urgency. Éomer heard what Aragorn had said and sighed. "The Uruks are destroyed. We slaughtered them during the night." "But there were two Hobbits and a she-elf. Did you see any of those with them?" Gimli asked nervously, starting to lose any type of hope that could possibly be left. "The Hobbits would be small – only children to your eyes. And the she-elf would look more like our friend Legolas here." Aragorn said and then rested his hand on Legolas' shoulder, hoping to the Valar that Amara was safe. That they were all safe. "We left none alive. We piled the carcasses and burned them." Éomer said sadly, before he pointed to a smoking pile in the distance. Gimli looked to where Éomer had pointed and his face dropped slightly. "Dead?" He mumbled. But, just as they had lost all hope, Éomer remembered something. "But, we had found a she-elf laying unconscience last night. She still lives, but is still not awake." He said softly, seeing that their spirits had lifted slightly. Whistling for one of his warriors to come, they came on horseback, holding onto an unconscience Amara. Aragorn swallowed hard and then grabbed hold of her carefully, handing her over to Legolas. He looked back to Éomer thankfully, who nodded to him. "I am sorry about the others." Aragorn put a hand on Gimli’s shoulder in grief, before Éomer turned and whistled again. "Hasufel! Arod!" He shouted and then two horses moved up. "May these horses bear you to better fortune than their former masters. Farewell." He said softly and handed the reigns over to Aragorn. Éomer then put on his helmet and got back on his own horse. Aragorn took hold of the reigns and watched Éomer closely, swallowing hard. "Look for your friends. But do not trust to hope, it has forsaken these lands." Éomer spoke and then looked to the riders. "We ride north!" He shouted out the command and then rode away with his men.

(Aww, I don't remember any of my dreams last night! Lucky!)
(Time for another song! This one is "The Prayer" from the movie Quest for Camelot. If you want to listen, I'd recommend the version from the movie 9though it's different lyrics,) the Celtic Woman version, or the Hayley Westenra version.)
Allison nodded at Frodo's words, how he felt like they were no longer alone in the maze of Emyn Muil. "I know," she said. "Though I don't know who it could possibly be, but I have a pretty good idea." She sighed heavily. "We've got to keep moving. We can't afford to waste any time. I'm sorry."
They eventually made it back onto some semblance of a path, and it was near a high cliff-face of rock where they made their camp for the night. Dinner was a subdued affair, all of them chewing their lembas bread in silence. They sat huddled together, for the air was now quite cold. "I'll take first watch," Allison offered, knowing that she would never be able to sleep tonight.
It didn't take Sam and Frodo long to drop off to sleep, and Allison settled herself nearby, wrapped up tightly in her cloak with her spellbook open on her lap. She wished that there was a spell for warmth somewhere in there, but if there was, she had not the skill in Elvish to read it. She sighed again, looking up at the sky. Darkness had fallen swiftly, but as she watched, some clouds moved away and one of the stars came out. Please, she prayed, to the Valar, to her family, to anyone who would listen. Please protect Amara and our friends. Please let them be safe." Then, without really realizing it, she opened her mouth and began to sing. The words sounded strangely familiar, but she felt as though she was making up the song as she went along."
"I pray you'll be our eyes And watch us where we go And help us to be wise In times when we don't know
Let this be our prayer When we lose our way Lead us to a place Guide us with your grace To a place where we'll be safe
I pray we'll find your light And hold it in our hearts When stars go out each night Remind us where you are
Let this be our prayer When shadows fill our day Lead us to a place Guide us with your grace Give us faith so we'll be safe
We ask that life be kind And watch us from above We hope each soul will find Another soul to love
Let this be our prayer Just like every child Needs to find a place Guide us with your grace Give us faith so we'll be safe
Need to find a place Guide us with your grace Give us faith so we'll be safe."
She was so worried for her friends, and so focused on her song, that she didn't hear the intruder enter their camp.
--------------
When he saw Amara lying as if in sleep, Legolas forgot about all animosity towards Eomer. He rushed to take her as Estel offered her, brushing her hair out of her face and kissing her forehead. She was alive. She was alive. But the joy of this discovery would be short-lived if they learned that Pippin and Merry were dead. It would be a truly bittersweet victory.
As carefully as he could, he climbed up on to one of the horses Eomer had given them, still holding Amara. Estel and Gimli took the other, and they rode towards the still-smoking pyre then Rohirrim had built. The smell of burning flesh was almost unbearable. Estel and Gimli dismounted their horses, but Legolas stayed where he was, unwilling to move in case Amara was hurt, hoping that she would awaken. He watched as Gimli used his axe to shift the pile of bodies around, looking for any sign of the young Hobbits. Suddenly, he paused, holding up a blackened object. "One of their wee belts," he whispered.
Legolas closed his eyes and began reciting a prayer in Elvish, feeling grief for his small friends.

[Oh, I like the lyrics to that song!!!]
It felt like Megan had drifted off in a dream that lasted for centuries and all she wanted to do was wake up. She hoped and prayed to the Valar that she wasn't dead. She needed to fulfill her task for the Fellowship and she needed to be with Legolas. He was her life now.
When she was handed over to him, she cuddled against him slightly; the warmth of his body feeling very familiar. And after a while of them searching for the Hobbits, Megan finally opened her eyes slowly. She looked up into Legolas' blueish hues tiredly and then smiled happily, realizing that it was him. She quickly wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. "A'maelamin..." She whispered softly and rested her head on his shoulder.
She held onto him as tightly as she could. She couldn't let him go.
Suddenly, Aragorn yelled in pure aggravation, after kicking a helmet hard. He then fell to his knees. "We failed them..." Gimli said solemnly. Aragorn then looked to the side as some tracks caught his attention. "A hobbit lay here, and the other. They crawled. Their hands were bound." He then followed the tracks and stopped at another spot. "Their bonds were cut." He added, before holding up a broken length of thick rope. "They ran over here. They were followed." He added and hurried to another section of the land, along with Gimli. "The tracks lead away from the battle..." He concluded and then him and Gimli started to break into a run and then stopped right outside of Fangorn Forest. They both looked up into a dense and dark forest. Gimli stared at the forest with a bit of fear in his eyes and then shook his head a bit. "Fangorn. What madness drove them in there?" He asked curiously and then sighed. Megan then swallowed hard, remembering what she had told Merry and Pippin. "I told them to go in there..." She said softly and then Aragorn and Gimli stared at her.
-------------
It had taken awhile, but Frodo had finally fallen asleep, even with the rain pouring onto his head now. He had felt still that someone was watching them and it made him quite nervous, but he probably would be feeling that way for the whole journey. He curled up in a ball slightly and wrapped his arms around himself.
Later on, a dark shape had appeared on top of the cliff. The creature Gollum had appeared and was making his way down to the Hobbits, slowly. "The thieves! The thieves! The filthy little thieves! Where is it? Where isss it? They stole it from us. My preciousss." Gollum hissed, before creeping closer and closer. "Curse them! We hates them! It’s ours, it is... and we wantssss it!" He added, continuing to speak to himself. He then reached out his hand towards the Hobbits.
Suddenly, Frodo and Sam sprung up, grabbing hold of Gollum’s arms and pulled him down. Amidst the struggle, Gollum wriggled loose and leaped onto Frodo. As Frodo fell back, the chain and Ring around his neck became revealed and Gollum jumped straight for the Ring. Sam tried to grab at him but was knocked away. Gollum then jumped on top of Frodo and tried to reach for the Ring even as Frodo grabbed his hands and tried to push him away. Gollum’s cheeks puffed with exertion as he struggled with Frodo, his enormous eyes fixed on the Ring. Sam grabbed hold of Gollum again and teared him away from Frodo. Gollum then turned around and bit Sam on the shoulder, wriggling around and clasping his arms around Sam’s neck and legs around his waist in a death grip, while Sam screamed in pain. Frodo unsheathed Sting and held it to Gollum's throat. Frodo then said menacingly, "This is Sting. You’ve seen it before, haven’t you... Gollum! Release him or I’ll cut your throat! Slowly, Gollum loosened his grip on Sam and as the latter disentangled himself, Gollum wailed.
[A'maelamin - My beloved.]

(*insert generic comment about how much writer's block sucks here*)
It all happened so quickly, Allison hardly knew what was going on. For one horrible moment, she couldn't move, and could only watch in horror as Gollum--for that was who it was, there was not a doubt in her mind--attacked her friends. Then, as if someone else was propelling her, she sprang into action, arriving nearly too late, for Sam was already in Gollum's grasp. The wind picked up around them as Allison stared at them, and dimly she realized that somehow, her magic was affecting the weather. Gandalf had warned her that might happen, urging her to try to control her emotions if she could.
She breathed a deep sigh of relief when Gollum released Sam, though the creature's incessant wailing didn't help matters much. "Shut up!" she cried, before turning to Frodo and Sam in concern. "Are you all right?" she asked worriedly, looking at each of them closely.
Suddenly, Gollum lunged for them again, but this time Allison was to quick for him. "Berio ammen!" she cried, throwing her hands up in a Shield spell. Instantly the orb of magical light surrounded the three of them and Gollum practically bounced off of it, landing against the rocky wall nearby. There he lay motionless. Allison's hands fell to her sides. "Have I killed him?" she whispered, horrified.
(I've always wondered just HOW they got Gollum to stay still long enough to be tied up. So, I offer an explanation! He was knocked out. XD)
-------------
For a while, Legolas was too full of emotion to speak, simply holding on to Amara as if afraid she might vanish as Aragorn traced the paths of the Hobbits. When it was revealed that Amara had suggested that the two take refuge in the depths of Fangorn Forest, only Legolas was left unperturbed by her words. "There was nowhere else they could go," he explained to the others for the sake of his beloved. "It was either risk the forest, or stay and be killed. You did the right thing, A'maelamin," he told her, kissing her forehead gently. Then he looked to Aragorn and Gimli.
"We must go in after them. We must find them."

[Haha! I know how you feel. Writer's block REALLY sucks sometimes. /:]
Megan stayed close to Legolas as she listened to him speak on her behalf. She looked up to him and then smiled a little, closing her eyes as he kissed her forehead. She sighed and then nodded in agreement to what he said. "Yes... We must move quickly. They could be lost." She said to Gimli and Aragorn, before biting her lower lip; looking toward Fangorn Forest a bit nervously. She hoped that she actually had done the right thing.
They all slowly started to ride into Fangorn Forest, keeping their eyes open and making sure that nothing bad happened to the company. Megan looked up into Legolas' eyes lovingly, knowing that they had been apart for at least four days. She gently reached up and caressed his cheek with a small smile. "Oio naa elealla alasse." She whispered softly to him and stayed close to him.
While Amara and Legolas reconnected with each other, Gimli fingered a dark stain on a leaf and brought it to his mouth. He then made a face and spit it out. "Ptui! Orc blood." He exclaimed. Aragorn then looked around a bit on the ground. "These are strange tracks." He muttered almost to himself. Gimli nodded in agreement with his companion. "The air is so close in here." He added. Aragorn took a deep breath and looked around more. "This forest is old. Very old. Full of memory... and anger." He said softly and then suddenly, he heard groans reverberate through the forest and Gimli raised his axe. Amara then looked up, hearing the noises. She looked over to Gimli and Aragorn, curiously. "The trees are speaking to each other." She said softly. She didn't know how she knew that, but she could feel that it was right. Aragorn then looked over to Gimli and whispered to him, "Gimli!" He then gestured for him to lower his axe and so Gimli did so. Megan slowly sat up from her spot and stared past her companions. "Aragorn, nad nâ ennas!" She spoke to Aragorn softly and then he looked to where she was looking. "Man cenich?" He asked her and then she narrowed her eyes a bit, not knowing how she was seeing this. "The White Wizard approaches." She added and then swallowed hard.
For some reason, she felt like this was a good thing. And that it wasn't Saruman.
"Do not let him speak. He will put a spell on us." Aragorn spoke softly to his companions, as he wrapped his hand around the hilt of his sword. Gimli tightened his hold on his axes, and Megan moved to the side a bit, to let Legolas notch an arrow to his bow. "We must be quick." Aragorn added quickly and then, with a yell, the three swung around to attack. Gimli’s axe and Legolas’ arrows were deflected. Aragorn dropped his sword due to it becoming red hot in his grasp. They all shielded their eyes with their hands from the bright light emanating from the White Wizard. The White Wizard then spoke to the four of them. "You are tracking the footsteps of two young hobbits." Aragorn wanted to look up to the owner of the voice, but alas, could not bear to look up due to the intensity of the brightness. "Where are they?" He shouted, a bit angrily. "They passed this way the day before yesterday. They met someone they did not expect. Does that comfort you?" He asked softly, holding onto his staff. "Who are you? Show yourself!" Aragorn yelled again. Finally, the bright light dimmed, revealing Gandalf, all dressed in white. Aragorn, Gimli and Megan stood there astounded. Megan quickly got off of the horse, ignoring how dizzy she was and then bowed alongside Gimli. "It cannot be. You fell." Aragorn said, while standing in his spot and staring at Gandalf with teary eyes. He was in complete shock.
---------
Frodo was panting heavily, as he watched Arabella stop Gollum from attacking again. His eyes got wide as Gollum laid motionless on the ground, after hitting her "shield". He swallowed hard and looked to Sam, who was checking on the ugly creature. "He's still alive. Should we leave 'im?" He asked Arabella and Frodo. Frodo shook his head and bit his lower lip. "No. This is Gollum. I know it. He may know where our destination is." He said softly.
He then looked back over to Arabella and walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her. He hugged her tightly and kept her as close to him as he could get her; leaving no space in between the two of them. "Thank you, for saving us." He whispered softly in her ear, before making her look at him. He let his blue eyes shine a bit, as they rested on hers. "I'm so glad that Lord Elrond and Gandalf chose you." He added softly and caressed her cheek with his hand.
He needed her and he knew it. He was just having a really hard time showing it, due to how horrible the Ring was making him feel. He swallowed hard, out of nervousness, and then leaned forward. He placed a soft kiss onto Arabella's lips, while closing his eyes slowly. He hoped that he wasn't being too forward.
[Oio naa elealla alasse' - Ever is thy sight a joy.
Nad nâ ennas - Something is out there.
Man cenich - What do you see?]

(This post is SO hard to write because I've actually never been kissed, so I don't know what it feels like! XD Well, technically I've been kissed, but it was a fake one for a play.)
She couldn't help but feel some remorse as she stared at the limp form of Gollum. Allison had always thought of her magic as a good thing, something that helped people. She protected them from harm, she healed them when they were injured. The fact that for the first time, she had realized that it was possible for her magic to actually hurt someone scared her more than she could say.
"Tie him up, at least," she suggested quietly to Sam, once he had checked to see that the wretched thing was still breathing. He nodded and went over to his pack, fetching the Elven rope that he had been given in Lothlorien. While Sam busied himself with securing the ropes around Gollum so he wouldn't escape, Allison turned to Frodo, who was watching her. Suddenly, he crossed to her, wrapping her in a tight embrace. For one moment, Allison felt her resolve crumble, the mask of bravery she tried to put on around Frodo and Sam falling away. For just one moment, she allowed herself to be vulnerable as she held on to Frodo for dear life.
"That's what I'm here for," she whispered after Frodo thanked her for saving their lives.
Even in the dimness, she could feel herself drowning in his blue eyes as he gazed at her. She was frozen again, unsure of what to do. Her heart, however, was going into overdrive, fluttering and skipping beats so much she was afraid she would collapse right in front of him. She saw him leaning towards her, saw his eyes close. Her eyes closed in response, hardly believing what was about to happen.
The moment their lips met, she forgot all the memories of her old life, as if they had been erased completely. Frodo kissed her, and Allison became Arabella.
It was a strange sensation, having someone else's lips on hers, and for a moment she didn't know what to do. A feeling of warmth and safety spread through her, though, and although she wasn't sure if she was doing it right, she wrapped her arms around his neck and started to kiss him back. She remembered Lady Arwen's words to her: "Hold on to your love. In these dark times, it is all we have."
Let it keep you strong."
Done with his work, Sam gave Gollum one tiny kick to the ribs for good measure before turning around just in time to see Frodo and Arabella kiss. A small smile crossed his face, as if he was thinking, 'It's about time.'
------------------
As soon as the Wizard revealed himself, Legolas dropped to his knees. When Amara jumped off her horse, however, he bolted to his feet, rushing to steady her. "Amara!" he cried, holding onto her tightly, as if she might disappear, as if this was all some dream he might wake up from. Indeed, it would make sense. Here stood Mithrandir back from the dead--surely that was the stuff of dreams, not reality?
Through fire and water. From the lowest dungeon to the highest peak, I fought the Balrog of Morgoth." Mithrandir's eyes seemed far away, as if he was reliving the terrifying events over again as he spoke. "Until at last, I threw down my enemy and smote his ruin upon the mountainside. Darkness took me, and I strayed out of thought and time...."
The three hunters and Amara listened in awe to Gandalf's story, hanging on his every word. Legolas had never heard of such a phenomenon happening before, not even in the old tales.
"I have been sent back until my task is done."
