"Well my lady the guest list is entirely up to us. As for meeting my mother it shall be the day after next if you feel up for it?" Thoril tilted his head before standing and making his way through the adoring crowd to the bar.

She thought about it as he left, then figured she could afford to take off. Callie watched him go, admiring him. She was so thankful, yet she felt awful for the price he had paid in losing loved ones.

Thoril returned with two glasses of wine. He laid one in front of Callie. He leaned down and kissed her forehead before sitting down beside her. "What do you think? I can always push it back Callie. There is no rush at all."

She closed her eyes and smiled as he kissed her forehead, then took the glass and sipped at it. "Thoril, I absolutely cannot wait to meet her." she smiled softly at him. "There is no need to push it back, when my boss," she motioned towards where she worked, "Hears the news he will not mind."

"My mother is desperate to meet you too," he chuckled. "I am sure you both will hit it off. Well we shall leave the day after tomorrow. Tomorrow I shall see about getting a horse or two for our journey." He smiled softly.

Callie nodded, excited. "That will be good. I have some money saves up as well, so we can use that for whatever we need." she reached and laid her hand atop his.

~I'm just going to skip ahead to their journey. Hope you do not mind. I'll repost if you do :D

The following morning Thoril walked through the town to the stablemaster. The stablemaster was a fairly old man with a tired and grumpy temperment. When Thoril knocked on his door, he was met by an overweight man with beerstains down his shirt. Thoril could not begin to imagine how old the stains were. "I would like to purchase two horses kind sir. The best you have if you can spare them." Thoril flashed the stablemaster the best smile he could muster in the stench that swirled around him.
The stablemaster grunted and took a set of keys from behind the door. "Follow me," he said with a yawn and led Thoril to a small paddock on the outskirts of the town. The stablemaster opened the gate and ventured into the throng of horses and returned with two. One was white and the other was black. "Couple of elven horses I found roaming nearby." The stablemaster said as he handed the reigns to Thoril and held his hand open for payment. Begrudgingly Thoril handed him a sack of money and turned before he had to partake in anymore conversation with the man.

When he returned home he allowed the horses to roam freely in his back garden while he packed the necessities for their journey the following day.

(that's fine! :D)

Callie watched Thoril return with two fine horses. Her eyes turned back to packing as she realized she was gawking. She had her bag on her bed, and proceeded to fill it with different things she would need. She packed an extra cloak, knowing it would be chilly at times. She was excited to meet his mother, but then, her stomach churned with nervousness. Would his mother approve?

Thoril set his pack at the back door, ready for their departure in the morning. He glanced out at the horses watching them play with eachother. He snickered softly as he went up to Callie's room. "How is your feet?" He asked, casually leaning against the door frame.

"What?" she glanced at him, confused for a second, then grinned. "I am almost ready." she stuck a few other things into her back before tying it shut. "There!" she turned with a broad smile. "Ready?"

"Ready as I will ever be." He slung his arm around Callie's shoulders. "My mother is just going to eat you up," he crooned softly. "How could she not when faced with the sweetest woman in the world?" He chuckled softly.

Callie blushed. "Well, I hope so!" she let out a soft chuckle and laid her head on his shoulder. "I cannot wait." she looked up at him, love written all over her face. "I love you, my Knight."

Thoril beamed brightly, a blush spreading across his cheeks. "I love you too."

The following morning, after a delicious breakfast cooked by Thoril, they set of on the first leg of their journey to Gondor. "We shall need to stop off somewhere and bring my mother a gift. She does love to be surprised with presents," he chuckled faintly. Thoril had taken the black horse. He named it Felix. Felix cantered, happy to be free from his former owner.

Callie agreed. "What kinds of things does she like?" her white steed, Aleta, arched its neck and cantered beside Felix at an easy gait. "Perhaps...baked goods? Fabrics? Jewelry?" she tilted her head slightly, grinning. "Dresses?"

"My mother is of simple taste mostly. However she has a love of all things weird and wonderful. Although that sounds difficult to find, she is very easily pleased." Thoril snickered as he thought of the room his mother had dedicated to her collection of strange artifacts she had coveted over the years. "We certainly will not need to bring any baked goods. Mother loves to cook. I guarantee we will be leaving her twice the size we are now." He laughed again as he thought of the cakes his mother used to make and force him to take into his school for his friends. He was sure she done it just to make sure he had friends.

Callie grinned. "Well then we shall find something weird and wonderful!" she exclaimed. "Your mother sounds likeand absolute doll!" she said, excited to meet the woman who had raised the man she loved.
