I love Gandalf always. But Beorn was really cool too! If I were a character, I'd want to be a skin changer. And live in the woods with Beorn and his animals

It's interesting how in-tune with nature Beorn is.

I would really have to say Beorn, simply because he is a skin-changer and that makes him automatically awesome.

Uh, Bilbo maybe because he's so out of it.....so very out of it.... or maybe Gandalf. He doesn't do much in the Hobbit but hes there.

Bilbo and Gandalf, definitely. Their chemistry is just fantastic, and whenever I start reading the book over again I can't help bursting out laughing at them- every time, at the same lines. ("Struck by lightning, struck by lightning!") And the narrator himself, Tolkien, to be honest. His sharp, almost wounding, hilarious observations about the characters were the best in The Hobbit.

Beorn! He kinds reminds me of Tom Bombadil, I mean, Tom is Beorn of LotR. I like his nature bonds and despite that he is friendly, he may be dangerous.

Beorn evolved into a hero of mine. When I last read The Hobbit, I admired every line in Beorn's house. And Beorn himself...I would love to live like him, not bounded, not chained to anything than nature. I love that!
