The 1978 Ralph Bakshi one is SO unintentionally funny! They did a great job with word-for-word adapting from the books, but the animation and characterization was ridiculously off.

I love watching the Bakshi film, just to see someone else's take on LotR...and for laughs. The way the characters wave their arms around while talking makes them look like they're all having heart attacks.

The Mouth of Souron looks perpetually surprised.
