I can't make another photobucket account, because it needs an email to create the account. I already have an email address, that I used to make my current photobucket account.

Hi. I haven't been on Au in a long time. Just saw this and I understand the claiming spouses thing, but I was wondering if the existing family trees would continue to exist as they are.

Essentially, it depends. A lot of the old members haven't been active for years, so we're trying to give the newbies a chance to be a part of the fun as well, which in some cases means opening up new spouses if their old ones don't claim them by a certain time. Really, we're starting anew, I think.

For the photobucket account idea, yahoo still offers a free email account option. Someone could make an account simply to have a free address for photobucket. You just have to log into your email every now and then to make sure your account aint closed.

I know I'm new, but I really love the idea of a family and I'd love to be a part of it. I also have plenty of email accounts which I would I could 'donate' to the cause of creating a photobucket account, so long as I don't have any obligations beyond maintaining the email account. My registered email for the forum is actually in the clear for photobucket and I use it regularly.

So, I guess, and please correct me when I'm wrong, we need one person to open the threads and keep track of the adoptions and changes and several people who want to help with drawing the family trees, according to the updated lists in the threads. Update: Alright, Lhun and I are planning the Adoption and RP threads and will be posting them up soon, and will be in charge of keepin them updated. Arweb and Eru have been PMed about the Trees and the lines, and Ennostiel has been PMed about official spouse claimings, so we are waitin to hear back from her so we can set the official date for adoptions to begin.
Now I think we still need a photobucket account set up, along with confirmation from people who would like to draw the Tree, and people who would like to help keep it organized.

We dont know when we are goin to get the threads up, we still havent heard from Eru about being head of the family, and Enno hasn't been on or PMed us back about when spouses will be sorted out, so until all that gets fixed we cant post a start date. We PMed them about two weeks or so ago, but aint heard back, and we dont know another way of gettin ahold of them.  _________________

That's true, but to start a Family Tree we do need someone who can start the adoptions, like a head of the family. At least that's what I think As I remember, with the Old Trees, the heads of the lines were the ones who started adopting in the first place. And once you got adopted, you could go on and adopt people yourself. But without a head to adopt you, how can you become a part of the Tree?  Maybe I'm seeing a non-existing problem, but this is the main reason why we haven't posted the threads yet, although we're really excited to get started! _________________
