I've only had one concussion--I hit my head when I fainted in 9th grade after our frog dissection in biology. My teacher apparently still tells the story...Take it easy, Ness, hope you feel better soon!

I liked frog dissection! only one of my lab partners just wanted to take it apart....and so we didnt learn that much.... Thank you. my headache is much less now than it was this morning even.

Haha, from what I remember--and my memory of that day is pretty wibbly-wobbly--it wasn't the frog itself that made me faint, but the overpowering scent of formaldahyde that came with the frog.

Heh heh, frogs can't make people faint, but that smell certainly can. Thankfully, we haven't had a dissection in Science yet. We're working with acids, bases and pH things. The Doctor says it's fun, but he wants to know why we can't bring in anything from other planets to test. I told him that the teacher would never believe me if I told her what the substance was.

we had dissect a frog for Zoology class, it's a good thing it was just frogs some school requires cats. I hated the smell especially the formalin, it just smelled so un-natural and so un-healthy...

The smell was just so chemical-y and overpowering I could feel myself getting more light-headed the longer the frogs were there...of course, I waited until after the frogs were out of the room to faint. And then the first thing I heard when I woke up was the boy I had a crush on (who turned out to be a jerkface) scream "I'M GONNA GET A WHEELCHAIR" and run out of the room. But I got to go home for the rest of the day and drink juice, so it wasn't that bad...just mortifying. And Re: cats, my school did the same thing. Regular biology classes dissected frogs and worms (which wasn't that bad as there isn't much to a worm) and Advanced Placement Biology dissected baby pigs and cats...yet another reason I decided not to take AP Bio! The one other time I've fainted isn't nearly as interesting. I was reading a book.

I've had to dissect frogs, a sea anemone, a dog shark (that made me sad), I think a baby pig, we were going to do a snake (that would have made me sad too) but we didnt get to (all that was for zoology, except for one frog in biology), and I had to dissect a cat for one of my veterinary technician classes. My lab group named the cat Snickers, for some odd reason...and we had to use these cats for seriously two months. They were gettin pretty bad by the time we were done with them. And we also had to dissect a rat, and a full grown pig, and a cows stomach, all for my veterinary classes. And I think thats it.

I've never had to dissect anything, not even in the advanced biology classes and I couldn't be more grateful! Sherlock's giving me disapproving looks now, he can't believe someone wouldn't find that interesting... Anyone got anything nice planned for the weekend?

I'm working on my Spanish project. The Doctor wants me to write it in Old High Gallifreyan, but I told him that since it's a Spanish project, I can't do that. How's my mum and my sis? XD

^^ I'm doin alright, your father on the other hand is still trying to figure out how I tricked him into taking a walk with me in the park! When I asked him to walk with me he politely told me there was nothing of interest to him in the park and was pretty dead set on the matter until I pointed out that I would be there, so that should interest him. We had our walk. How are you doing? And how is my other daughter today?
