or is the not enough material in the book to make one?

They are already making two movies from small book. Ift hey did extended edition, they would have to add a lot of material that isn't in the book...much more that they are adding now.

yes i suppose the point in making thw two seperate movies was to get the money that the extended edition made on lotr
