Whoa, the trailer looks amazing!! Though it makes me hate Joffry even more, I just can't stand that idiot But the good news is, we only have to wait 25 more days

From all the clips/ interviews I've seen She has always had some serious shoulder fashion going on. I don't like it either, but I think the designers were attempting to find a way of showing that Renley's people were another different culture to what we've seen. Ultimately, I don't think the ugly design will matter though, because I think she's gonna be naked 90% of the time anyway if the trailers are anything to go by

O Hai. I'm popping in cause, I love A Song of Ice and Fire. Anyways, YES! I'm glad I wasn't the only one slightly perplexed by the fashion shown by Margaery Tyrell, but as someone else said, maybe it's just the fashion of Highgarden/The South. Anyways, I'm sort of excited to see how they portray Margaery in the show! I loved the 2nd and 3rd book! So, I'm super excited to see how this season pans out! AND IT STARTS TOMORROW!

Totally joining. I just finished the first book today and I'm hopelessly addicted and have created an OC that probably sucks but I love her anyway. I can't watch the show because we don't get HBO, but once school is out (one more month!) my friends and I are going to have a GoT party and watch all of season 1. My favorite characters are Tyrion, Jon, and Arya so far.

Yay Ari!! Welcome!
I really love series 2 so far, I've seen both episodes and am so excited for Renley and the Tyrell's next week- I love all the new characters to death- Craster is super creepy!
I think I'm so far enjoying it a bit more than I did S1 but that might be because the book isn't quite as fresh in my mind as it was when I watched the first series when I was literally reading a few chapters and watching the ep that covered them. but still so so good!

Well, according to a quiz I took I'm a Lannister. XD Which is really weird because I don't think that fits me at all, but I love Tyrion so I'll take it.
I'm not 'allowed' to watch the show until the semester is over because my friends who are fans are planning on having a party and watching Season 1, but I'm super excited! I hear it follows the books really well and even improves upon them.

Yes, the plot is very like in books and they made everything with details. I was afraid that this nudity will throw me off the screen but series is so good, I can stand even sex scenes Putting you under Lannisters!

Haha, I feel the same way! I've just read the second book so I know exactly what's going on. During the first season I was constantly confused, because I couldn't remember what would happen next or what everyone was talking about. But besides that, season 2 has been great so far I really loved to see the dire wolves all grown up (they are HUGE) and Tyrion is still by far my most favorite character. Perfect combination of intelligence, humor and sarcasm!

I've been watching the Character Features on youtube that feature the actors talking a little about their characters, and everyone has been so perfectly cast! I want to watch it for real...
I'm about 300 pages from the end of A Clash of Kings! My Whovian brain immediately assumed that Renly was killed by the Vashta Nerada

Alright, I have to ask: how did you guys force yourselves to get through Book 4? It makes me want to slam my head against a table and cry because it's so dull compared to the first three books. And half of my babies are dead and the rest are hardly even in this book. Unfair. Honestly, though, what works? Bribery? A schedule?
On a related note, I'm starting to reeeeeeeeeally hate the Greyjoys, even though I think their culture and religion is really interesting and well-developed. Ugh, they're awful. And interesting. And they need to just stop.

^ I completely agree on Feast, it took me longest to read out of all of the books and unfortunately things don't get much more interesting for most of Dance. Cersei's chapters are quite good though . As for motivation to read it, I read somewhere that ASOIF is like a 5 act play, and Feast and Dance are act 4- where things happen frustratingly slow, after a gory action packed act 3 (Storm of Swords), but there all necessary to bring the story to it's eventual conclusion. Not a fan of the Greyjoys either, their culture is fantastic, but they often seem such one dimensional characters to me that I don't care for their sub plot at all. It's worth it for *Mild Spoilers* Victarion and the monkeys though OK Who's seen all of Series 2 of the TV show? Blackwater was completely amazing, and the finale was all kinds of awesome too. Do I really have to wait a whole year for more?

Thank god I'm not the only one struggling through Feast! It's sitting next to me right now...taunting me...
I haven't seen all of season 2, but I read somewhere that the next TWO seasons are going to be following the events of A Storm of Swords...I don't think my heart can take it!
