lol just something I have been wondering about... soI thought I would set up a poll.
I have noticed that Vigo is playing in several cowboy movies after LOTR (including Hidalgo which I loved!!)
So my question to you is "Does he play a cowboy better than he played Aragorn, or not?"

I think VIGGO plays any role quite amazingly. He is like Johnny Depp, well JD has had more versatile roles than Viggo, but they both adapt to their characters so wonderfully.
Viggo can play a man with two personalities and a killer, a father during the apocalypse, a Ranger, and a cowboy...

Thanks for your imput. I get what youmean. I completely agree with the whol Johny Dep thing... his roles are so diverse sometimes you wouldn't know it was the same guy. I have only seen Viggo play in LOTR and Hidalgo so I don't know as mucha bout him though.

I agree with Pandora, I think Viggo is a great actor, no matter what part he plays. Appaloosa looks great, Viggo and Jeremy Irons and Ed Harris, what a cast!
But I'm wondering Jax, did you refer to what movies we girls think Viggo looks hot in? Or was it solely a question on his acting skills?

Oooh I want to see The Road or something about Viggo and his son during the post-apocalypse or whatever... it looks great and extremely sad...
That is a good question, because movies that Viggo is hot in and ones that he is a great actor in might be a bit different... although Viggo is hot and great in everything he does ^^

The Road. Is that the book by Cormac (the guy with No Country for Old Men) made into a movie?
Or another one?
Well, actually I think Viggo is a great actor - always!
But his hotness varies... of course depending on the parts he plays - and peoples individual taste, I suppose.

I have to agree with others, I think Viggo is excellent whatever he is in. However, I personally think he was better as Aragorn, mainly because it seemed to me, to be a bigger role and a more complex role than the one he played in Hidalgo. But the fact he can play two totally different characters, and you don't say to yourself when wathin one or the other "ooh, looks there's ---", shows what a great actor he is.

I completely agree with JF on Viggo's acting ability. He is wonderful and can do so many types of roles, but I enjoyed his performance as Aragorn due to the complexity of the character.

I don't know I just prefer him as Aragorn with a long brown hair. It is just melting my heart.
