I completely understand that! Half of me wants a job so that I can afford the things I want, but the other half of me just wants to stay at home all day and avoid growin up as well! A thought that is made easier by the discouraging job market in my area.

Yeah, I do and I don't wanna grow up.. It's kinda confuzzling. But either way, when I do grow up I'll still be the one who plays with the lightsabers and swords in the aisles and dresses up for movie premiers. That won't change until I'm really old.

Psssh, I'm going to play with the toys in the stores when I'm a tiny shriveled grandma.

I'll still be playing with the Marvel action figures, wearin my Iron Man tshirts, and playing with the toy swords when I'm traveling through the store with my walker! What's the point in life if you cant have fun? I mean, seriously, why are people so obsessed with hittin a point in their life where they push aside and leave behind all childhood enjoyments, all lighthearted fun, and all random crazy acts of joy all for whats called 'growing up'? To grow up a little is fine, its a fact of life you gain more responsibility with age, but to keep a little of your childlike wonder is not a bad thing, personally I think it would help keep people sane, and less stressed about life. Maybe people need to hear the quote "All it takes is faith and trust, and a little bit of pixie dust" more often, it might bring a little of the inner child back.....I know it always works for me.

I totally agree. One quote that I love is, "People don't stop laughing because they age, they age because they stop laughing."

Of course, the problem with faith, trust, and a bit of pixie dust, is that we don't live in Neverland. We can have bits of childhood still left within us, but there is a line that has to be drawn. Spending all day running around barefoot and blowing bubbles sounds nice, but it's not gonna get you an apartment to live in. That's the growing up I don't want to do.

Touche, Nurr. This is all getting a bit depressing though--we should talk about something fun. Like autumn being the actual best season.

Atumn is the best season. The leaves change color, it's time for pumpkin flavored food and apple cider, it gets cooler but not freezing, football comes back.....ah. I'm so ready. We actually have an apple tree in our yard that has had a really good yield this year (we don't cultivate it at all, it's just the luck of the season) and I've been making various apple things. Like apple crisp. And today I made apple nut bread. And I'm planning some apple cider and apple cider donuts in the near future.

There's an apple orchard about 20 minutes from my hometown and apple picking was a family tradition every September up until I went to college. You know what else is awesome about fall? Pumpkin pie. And pumpkin bread. And pumpkin spice lattes. And spending all afternoon in Barnes&Noble drinking pumpkin spice lattes.

You guys are making me so hungry. Literally every single food you have listed sounds perfect and amazing. I wonder when these things will start flooding the food stores... Pumpkin spices lattes though. Are there any Britons who can confirm or deny the existence of these in England? Because I'm going to be pretty sad if I'm deprived of fall-flavored coffee drinks for the next three years.

I have a sudden urge to go to B&N and drink pumpkiny things and read a book. Unfortunately I don't think they're open at 11 at night.

I dont even have a Barnes and Nobles where I live Nurr! I don't even have a book store... on the other hand...that might be a good thing... I think I'd spend all my hard-earned money there....

Speaking of bookstores, who else is bummed that Borders is out of business? I loved going there to relax and read.

I've only been to Borders once. It was nice, but I think I prefer B&N. And thanks a lot guys, now I'm hungry.
