Lhun smiled at the newcomer. "I'm so glad you could make it Qwertyuiop! Please help yourselve to anything you like, we've got plenty of food and drinks on the table. As you can see the men are kind of busy", she waved vaguely in the direction of the table where the men were still completely immersed in their game of cards, "but I'm sure they'll join us later."

"The story of how Sherlock and I met is actually not that interesting. He was working on one of his cases, and somehow made the promise to play a game of Trivial Pursuit with me when he was finished. Given his lack of knowledge about things that have nothing to do with his detective work, I beat him. And since then he kind of stayed around, unless he's out for one of his cases." She smiled fondly at Sherlock's dark curls that looked even more unruly than usual.

Lithi laughed. "I bet Sherlock was surprised you beat him!" she said to Lhun as she glanced over at the card game that was breaking up. "I was just the housekeeper Watson hired to really keep an eye on Holmes after he left, and to help keep Mrs. Hudson sane. But he liked my curiosity and enthusiasm for mysteries. And I found his little quirks to be adorable...Except that one." She added as one of the men asked Holmes what he could tell about him simply from his clothes. "Holmes, no! Let it go." she said, getting his attention. She sighed as she gave her sister a 'that was close' look, then noticed Qwertyuiop had arrived. "Hi Qwertyuiop! Welcome to the party! Look, there's a chocolate fountain!" she said, pointing excitedly at the fountain.

Alatáriël she looked at Dean drawing a grin on her face "I think, we shall find arrows and bows at the trunk of my husband's car."
She is so challenging, he is her husband but it's the honour of an elf is his bow. Dean went back from his car and handed her golden bow and arrow while he picked a black modern looking bow.

"Now, my kines you set the challenge; what we shall shoot?" Alatáriël voice came softly as elven honour is between her hands.
"Make it hard, would ya?" Dean winked at the men who shall cheer for his side of the Challenge.

"Ooh yes, that sounds perfect! " replied Qwertyuiop, munching on a delicious chocolate covered strawberry. "Who goes first?"

Ariadne felt that she had never had so much fun in her life. She laughed out loud as she and Darcy galloped over the fields on the splendid stallion, keeping tight hold of her hat with one hand as the wind rushed past them and keeping the other firmly on Darcy's waist.

"Oh look," she called as they approached a pretty-looking pavilion near which a small gathering of people were milling about. "That must be them; we'd better stop here."

As Darcy pulled on the reins, the horse obligingly slowed to a trot. Ariadne slid gracefully to the ground and joined in tying the horse safely to the nearest tree before taking Darcy's hand and heading towards the party.

"Hello?" Ariadne called out. "Lhun?" She quickly located her friend. "Lhun, I'm so dreadfully sorry about our late arrival. I am quite certain we left with plenty of time to spare. But you see, traveling by carriage is a terrible nuisance, and one of our wheels sunk nearly a foot or two deep in mud. However much we pushed, it simply would not budge. I am sure I was quite forlorn, but then my dear Fitzwilliam, who knew how much I longed to see my family, suggested that we take one of the horses instead, and you see we made it in the end. Oh, and I almost forgot--" Ariadne fumbled in the pockets of her mud stained traveling cloak and produced a slightly squished pie box. "A present of homemade apple pie, picked specially from the orchards of Pemberly. I do hope that you're not too cross with us."

Nurr wandered over to watch the fun, contentedly holding a plateful of fruit and chocolate to dip it in. She wondered how long this archery would take - after all, they had been here a while. Then, struck by a thought - "Lhun!" she called. "This is a multiple day party, right? Meaning, we'll be here overnight, right? Are there going to be fireworks?"

"Hullo Ari!" She greeted the two newcomers as they rode up to the group.

"Hello, Nurr, it's so good to see you," Ariadne replied happily. "I do hope there will be fireworks, though I dare say they won't be as grand as Gandalf's. Perhaps the dwarves might whip something up; I hear they are rather good at that sort of thing. Oh, are those chocolate-covered strawberries I see?" Ariadne added, glancing interestedly at Nurr's plate. Until now, she hadn't noticed quite how hungry the ride had made her. "There is nothing I like more. I shall investigate and set out our pie."

"Hi Ari! Don't worry about being late, I'm just glad you could still make it! And thank you for bringing the pie, it looks delicious." She walked along as Ariadne made her way over to the table and helped her to find a place for her pie. After pouring herself another cup of tea she returned to their little group. "Yeah, I hope everyone will stay overnight, there are some cosy bedrooms on the backside of this building. And I put Sherlock in charge of the fireworks. Admittedly not my best idea ever because the whole house smelled like sulfer for over a week, but I believe he's made some beautiful things."
