Kyriel walked up next to Ithilwen. "Sir, they were also searching for me... I lost track of time for the feast." She lied. She hoped this would keep them out of trouble.

"It's over already," Ithilwen said. Legolas and another elf rushed in behind Thranduil. The other elf spoke. "The dwarves have escaped!" Thranduil turned back to the girls, but they were already gone. "My father's going to be so mad," Ithilwen said. They heard footsteps behind them. Ithilwen turned around. "Legolas?" she said, surprised.

Legolas walked up to them in the dark hallway. Ithilwen couldn't move. "Okay, I know you did this, but I promise you I will not tell Ada," he sighed. Ithilwen looked up at her brother. "Hannon le," she said softly.
