"I guess we have to go now." She turned back to see the dwarves going inside Laketown. Ithilwen sighed. Bye, she thought. She resisted the urge to wave. Ithilwen and a dwarf met eyes and she looked down, not able to hold it. "I wish I could have gone with them. I wish we could all cooperate and everything would be fine," she whispered, half to herself. She straightened and followed her father, who led her to a horse. She and her friends rode to Mirkwood.
