Marida would have preferred to eat first, since travelling all the way from the Lonely Mountain to the Shire with very little food was thirsty work, but if the other guests wanted to play first, that was fine with her. When Thorin heard that his sister sons were also at the party, he went over to them to greet them as well as take both his and Marida's ponies over to them. "Are they always going to being tending to the ponies?" the dwarf queen thought to herself as she watched the three of them interact with each other. It was like they were being typecast or something, though it didn't seem to Marida that they minded much.

With not much else to do, it was up to the dwarf queen to set up the tent. As she was doing so, she noticed some of the other guests. Erin was there with her husband, Faramir. Although both Thorin and Marida had attended the coronation party in Minas Tirith, they couldn't stay long, so she was uncertain if she actually saw him there. Wasn't he the youngest son of the last steward or something? Marida didn't always keep track of these kind of things, since all those names and dates could give one a headache, whether you were of royalty or one of the common folk.

Aralas sat down on the ground and absent-mindedly ripped the grass and weaved it, looking at everyone. Suddenly she felt a tap on her shoulder. She jumped to her feet and turned around. "KILI!" she yelled, feeling embarrassed and annoyed and many other feelings. "Seriously? You are going to pay!" she said, almost laughing. They both burst out laughing. "I can't really get mad at you, can I?" Then she went over to her things and dumped them all into her tent.

Ruscowen stayed Close to the others curious which game they are going to play. She would have been fine with having meal, too - at least the journey from Dale to the Shire was hard - but she looked forward to the games, too.

Aralas went to sit down and decide for her vote. Games or food? "I think we should have a snack at least. It wouldn't be fair for some of us to go hungry while the others play!" Aralas said. "And travelling takes a lot of energy. Let's have a snack," she said, grabbing an apple. "Think fast, Fili!" she said tossing it at him. He caught it but once he saw that it was an apple he looked at it with disgust. "Not funny, Aralas." She ran over, grabbed it from him and after washing it, she ate the apple.

"Nice, Aralas!" laughed Legolin."To bad Ori isn't here, he could eat some green things!" she got up and brought out some snacks. "I have a piñata!" she whispered to Aralas.

"Long and exhausting," said Erin, also taking an apple. She glanced around at everyone, then froze at Thorin. It was clear, that she was badly trying to hide a crush she had on him. Deciding, that it would be better to just stare at the apple in her hand.

Torziel looked at Erin then replied to Ruscowen, "Well mine wasn't THAT bad! I mean it did rain, and it took forever, and....." she paused for a moment then concluded, "Yeah I guess it was pretty terrible!" She laughed and took an apple. "How was your journey, Ruscowen?"

"Pinata, ooh... maybe Dean has some bad memories from that? Anyway, mom. Do you want me to haul over some more dwarves?" Aralas whispered back, giggling. She went back to the conversation. "My journey wasn't that bad, not if you have two fun dwarves to keep you company!" Aralas said. "But sometimes their ponies are really slow! And the mud and rain- yuck!"

Lithi looked up at the sky with a sigh as she neared the camp site. "Stop your grumbling, Killian. You have a family now, its time you meet them. It wont kill you to make at least a brief appearance!" Captain Hook looked over at her with an arched eyebrow. "So you say...I'm not familiar with this land." he casually replied as he looked around them with caution. "Trust me, we're perfectly safe here." she assured him. "Now, there's a few things we need to go over. First, no stealing from anyone here...Dont give me that look, you know you're far from innocent...Second, if anyone decides to pull a sword for some fighting, it is a friendly match, not a duel to the death, alright darling? Third, try to be charming and not arrogant...Oh and don't try to frighten anyone with that hook of yours." Lithi added, reaching over to take hold of the hook that replaced his left hand. "Got it?" Hook rolled his eyes as he nodded, "Is there anything I can do, love?" She smirked at him. "Of course, just stand there and look hot, my Captain." she teased as they wandered through the few tents that had already been set up. Bringing a pirate to a camp out, obviously my sanity has taken a rain check for the day, she thought as she waved at the family members that were already there. "Hello everyone! Sorry we're late, had a bit of a time trying to convince Hook that our ship would be fine if we left it behind!" she laughed. "How is everyone?"

I'm the same as usual, the crazy adventurous weirdo who's apparently the daughter of an elf!" Aralas laughed. "Hello Captain!" she called as she passed by him. "I LOVE family parties. So... are we going to start with the activities? Who's with me?" she yelled, standing up on an empty table.
