After getting a nod from Thorin, Marida answered that she was with Aralas as well, even though she didn't always like being put on the spot like that. Since being married into the dwarven royal family, Marida was adjusting to many things that she wouldn't have ordinarily done when she was still known as one of the common folk. She still didn't know how Thorin managed to get that response from people, but Marida would mull over that later. Even though she was still a little hungry from their long journey all the way from Erebor (which would have taken them less time if Thorin wouldn't have insisted on avoiding the Elven kingdom of Mirkwood), she managed to snag a few apples from one of the tables (as well as catch a misfire by Aralas when she was having a little fun with Fili) to tide her over.

Marida noticed that two more people had come, and one of them looked like a pirate. So far, the pirate's wife, a woman by the name of Lithi, seemed to have him under control for the time being, but the dwarf queen knew that could change in an instant, especially if the festivities that Aralas had in mind got too out of control.

"We're in!" Fili and Kili said after finishing their conversation with their uncle. "I like this! We've got the right people, and the right stuff! So.. about what kind of games we're going to play. Hmm.. I don't know really. At the spring party we- the men played cards, which the women obviously made a big fuss about. Then I showed up." Aralas gave a "dramatic" pause and she laughed. "And we also had an archery contest, and duels. Fili and I met in the finals, it was fun.. At the coronation party an archery contest went wrong... So we've got a lot of choices: duels, archery, swimming, canoeing or boating, relay races, the list goes on! Except the duels can't be too harsh. Obviously. Nobody wants to start any quarrels in the family, right? But you know what? I think we should all have some proper introductions first. There's quite a bit of new faces! I'm Aralas, you can call me Ara. Legolin and Legolas are my parents," she said, then jumped down from the table.

Erin acknowledged all the others. "My name is Erin. I'm most likely very distantly related to you all."

After the introductions, she jumped in the river, and splashed Legolin. Erin laughed. "The water's not that bad at all."

With a grin she took off her cloak and jumped in the river. She liked Swimming even though the dress Ruscowen was wearing would need ages to try again. With a chuckle she started to splash Erin and Legolin.

Aralas threw off her cloak and changed into shorts and a shirt. "I wouldn't go for a swim in my travelling clothes," she said, then jumped in. "Come on, guys don't chicken out! It's fun!" she yelled. "The water isn't that bad!" She dodged a splash and turned around just as one of the dwarves jumped in. Aralas was too close and got sprayed big time. She swam over to her mom. "Take that mom!" she laughed. She found out too late that someone snuck up on her. The moment she turned around a bucket of water was emptied on her head. "Who was that?" she said after she got out of the shock. "FILI. COME ON!" Fili grinned. "Whatever," she said, then swam to the other side. The went out and after selecting an empty spot, she cannonballed in.

"Okay, stop splashing me!" cried Legolin with a laugh. She splashed Aralas and Ruscowen and swam to the bank to cannonball in. "I LOVE to swim!" she yelled.

Lithi joined the rest of the family in the river, calmly floating around on her back and relaxing in the sun while the others splashed around. She dove under the water a few times before swimming to the bank, sprawling out in the grass as she looked around. She spied a tree a little further down the riverbank with a sturdy branch that hung near the water. "Did anyone happen to bring a rope with them? Tie it to that branch there and you've got yourself a dandy swing!" she called out to the others.
