"Because you're an elf," Kalli pointed out. "You know what Thranduil did. He finds that a reason to hate all elves. Anyway. I think Thorin doesn't like me too much either. Maybe it's because he finds me a bit too un-dwarvish." She looked at Thorin, who was taking his sword back from Elrond.

"No, I don't think it's that. Thorin has a sister, remember. I know he doesn't approve, I just can't get what he doesn't approve from me! It's very puzzling. Elrond will probably get one of the dwarves off guard and find out what we're going to do with this quest. I really think that will happen," Kalli said.

Aralas didnt tell me why, but she told me she cant come back. That stinks!
"Come on! Aranye, Kalli, lets find Bilbo." The group ran through the halls of Imladris and stopped when they heard voices. Elrond was telling Gandalf that he feared Thorin would go mad, like his father and grandfather did. Thorin obviously had overheard, he was looking at tge floor and it appeared that there were tears in his eyes. "Oh!" Wispered Erestia in surprise. She turned with a faint sigh and walked down the steps again. If there was anything she hated to see it was people in distress. "Why Elrond, why!" She muttered under her breath.
