The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug on a larger TV sceen. My old TV was dying, but luckily, my parents had a newer older one. Compared to my old one, this TV is HUGE! It's a 27 incher (I've only had the puny 20 inchers until now), but luckily, it's still small enough to fit on my TV stand. I finally was able to make out what Thorin says just before Smaug lights the furnaces: "Take cover! Now!" For some reason, I couldn't make it out at the theater, perhaps too many comments by the general audience and fans alike. That's the good thing about watching it at home, you don't have to worry what other people think of the same scene.  _________________
