I'll make the prizes. Yes, if your spouse is from LotR or The Hobbit, pics are not required. I know of a good site for them.
I'm really upset and angry at the moment, sorry if I snap at anyone. If I do, it is not your fault at all. A series of events happened that has made me feel that way. I'm trying to rid myself of it by internet distractions.

Feel free to share if it would help. Day off tomorrow! wooo! I know laundry is on my list for tomorrow, so I can have some work clothes, but as for the rest of the day its up in the air! Except for my plans to see the new X Men movie again, that is

It's better that I don't say. It's quite personal, and no one would believe me anyway.

Everyone around me has been quite supportive.
Can I ask everyone a favor? My story is getting very little attention, because they take a strange issue with the fact that I'm a method writer, that won't conform to their take three paragraphs to describe a chair or whatever, writing. I write my stories how the character would, if they were writing it. The few people that have PM reviewed it, take issue with that. I anyone willing to join FictionPress, and post a couple of reviews to my story? It is totally worth it. There are a lot of good writers on there.

Working so much....brain fried...But I just learned that Hugh Jackman will be back on Broadway in October, so I'm not going to complain about work. Because I'll be begging my boss to give me whatever she possibly can, and I will be a crazy miser with my money, only spending what's necessary, because I will be saving up to get to New York, and get to see that show on Broadway!!! After all, its on my Bucket List! Both to see Hugh on Broadway, and then just to see a play in general on Broadway.

Quoting, so there is no need to search the topic. They're the prizes for the party games. Erin Vanya wrote: I have prizes too. I've Middle Earth theme named them. α - A Tale of Old - A drabble or short story about your fave LotR or The Hobbit character. β - A Portrait of thy Beloved - A set of your chosen spouse. If not LotR or The Hobbit based, pics will need to be provided. Possibly from a screencap gallery or something. You know what my style is like. There also is the possibility of a poem, but I'm not great at writing those. I'm learning to write ballads at the moment. Hope you have fun, Tink! I've been practising poetry a lot more. With some helpful advice from some reviewers, I've improved a little. So, it is a prize option, I just haven't thought of a middle earth name for it yet.

Since hardly anyone is posting in the party, I guess we should post ourselves leaving. It's been a couple of days since anyone has posted, so I might as well post again.
It's strange. I had my first LotR related dream last night. It was kinda like the ones I always have, but had The Hobbit characters in it. It was so vivid, I can still remember all of it.
Gandalf and Bilbo had to go to a ruined castle for some reason. They were walking down a river bank to a swamp like river. Their path ahead was blocked, so they had to swim through the river. At some parts, they had to go under water, then resurface. A few miles down the river, they were able to return to the bank again.
Gandalf froze, and warned Bilbo, "Something approaches. Friend or foe, I cannot say."
A thundering sound of hoves against rock made it's way down a winding path, from the cliff above. My family tree character, Erin (going by her elven name Lónannûniel) rode astride the horse. She came to a stop before them. She asked, "I have lost my way. Have either of you seen the castle?" Around her wrist a necklace chain was wrapped like a bracelet, with the most beautiful glistening jewel.
"Ah, it seems we are in the presence of royalty," said Gandalf, noticing the gem. "Or someone of whom King Thranduil holds in high regard."
"We were going that way ourselves, but we keep getting lost," said Bilbo.
Lónannûniel smiled, removing a wooden flute from the pack hanging from the horse's saddle. She gave it to Bilbo. "When you are at most of need, play this flute, and help will always come."
Lónannûniel went on her way, taking a different path from Gandalf and Bilbo, going across the plains, instead of continuing down the river. A horse followed her, ridden by Thranduil, who was determined to catch up to her and convince her to go back to the woodland realm. They arrived at the castle at the same time as Bilbo and Gandalf.
She jumped down from the back of her horse, heading into the castle. Going up spiraling staircase after staircase. Thranduil followed, calling her name. When she reached the top, Thranduil caught up with her. He told her, "Running away like this is rather reckless. Anything could have happened to you." He noticed the jewel hanging from her wrist, and silently wished that she would stay out of his private treasure hoard.
"But, nothing happened to me. You followed. I faced no danger because of you."
Then, as usual, I woke up before the end. I have no idea what happened to Gandalf and Biblo. I wonder what it means.

I'd be happy to give you a long PM review if you send me a sample. I'm a writer myself and have studied creative writing and if I have any issues with that at all I will be happy to explain lengthy why, etc.

That's a kind offer Bellatrix, but I'm over that now. Since I posted that, I realised that the only thing that matters is what I think and my target audience-who loves it.
My work isn't really the kind that can be worked out by a small sample anyway. I write in a way that even the smallest plot spark is crucial.

Welcome back, Tink. Did you have fun? For me, I've had some really weird dreams. Got into a huge fight with my mother, because I pointed out how horribly she treats me. Because it is her, she expects me to bow down and beg for forgiveness, when she is in the wrong. Oh, and the novel I've been working on for the last 18 months is finished.

I'm back in Sweden, and it feels so good. I was put on sick leave by the doctor I visited on Tuesday without hesitation which took a huge load off of my shoulders. Now I'm just waiting for the weekend to be over so I can make calls about going to school in England. But I'm seriously considering trying to just find a job there and going now, staying with my girlfriend for a while. But we'll see what happens really.

whoa, hold on, how much have I missed around here? I thought you were still in Japan?
as for me, working two jobs is killing my brain, i'm wearing a brace because of some unidentified wrist issue, I've decided I'd like to get a fish, which is random, and i'm going through all my veterinary tech books again to give that another go, and i just finished reading "The Fault In Our Stars" and decided I loved it even though it made me cry, which I'm not ashamed to admit. so thats me at the moment.
