^I'm sorry to say that I didn't like it. I thought her writing style was amateurish and clumsy and relating the historic events through the eyes of a woman there was a lot of
"My king, don't go to war"
King goes to war.
Wife waits.
And waits.
And waits.
Wife curses someone.
Waits some more.
King returns.
And then it starts all over again.
It was my first Philippa Gregory read so I can't compare it to The Other Boleyn Girl.
I'm going to read Woles of the Calla, the fifth book of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King

^Hmm, well then perhaps its more of a "check it out at the library" read rather than a "buy it" read, thanks for the heads up!

Eä wrote: The White Queen by Philippa Gregory Most of her writing in the 'Cousins War' series is like that, I think. I keep meaning to read it, but can't get past the water goddess thing.

^Thats the one I've heard the most about, perhaps its the best one or something. Ah well, I'm too obsessed with my "Outlander" series to pick up a new one anyway!

Actually, The Boleyn Inheritance is pretty good.

^Oh, which one?! Oh my gosh I read so many of those books when I was younger! Absolutely loved them!
Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie (along with the 2nd Outlander book and 4th Harry Potter book, still)

I just started Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban
I'm doing a HP re-read. I read the books when they came out but I've been wanting to read the series back-to-back for some time now.

The Majat Code, Book 1: Blades of the Old Empire
I saw it at Barnes and Noble and it sounded like it was going to turn out to be an interesting series. I bought the second book a few weeks ago since it just came out around the time I bought it.

I got a book of Zorro that was from the nineteen fifties, so I read through that. And found a old Hardy boys book so I figured why not.
