Sygnet eyed the man suspiciously but waved him from her mind. She nodded to him, keeping her bright green eyes locked on his. She turned away and began loading her supplies in her bag. As she did so, a small, bright shiny object fell from a pocket and bounced away. She mumbled slightly as it rolled towards the man. It stopped at his feet. It was a silver ring with sapphires and diamonds set on the band. It looked expensive.

IC: Micha looked into the women's eyes, her green meeting his grey. As the small ring rolled to a resting place at his feet he bent down to retrieve it.

Sygnet moved towards him, "Thank you," she said, holding out her small hand. The ring was much to large for her thin fingers as she watched him. This man had a different air about him. He looked, almost worn down. A traveller? Or something else. She shook her head ever so slightly. She was just being paranoid.

Micha handed the women the ring without hesitation. He nodded respectfully, but showed no emotion on his face. "Not a problem, traveler."

Sygnet smiled, glad he didn't ask about the ring, "A fellow traveller?" she asked, judging by his appearance.

"Rivendell?" Micha question. "If you don't mind me asking, do you know the elves of Rivendell well? It's been ages since I've been up that direction."

"I do not know. I haven't been back for sometime. About ten years," she saidx truthfully, "When were you last there?" she asked.

"Ah. It's been just over four for me, so I'd have the more recent news I guess."

Micha adjusted his sword that hung under his brown leather trench coat. "Rumors around Bree town speak of threats the elves perceive in the darkness...but this is bree..."

Sygnet sighed, "A pity. I do believe the rumors are true but that is why I am going there now. Just to make sure," she said, nodding, "Well, good Micha Lonewolf, I bid you good day," she smiled and moved to the door.

Micha nodded and turned back to Madlock, the shop owner. He gathered his things, payed the man and headed out after inquiring of the latest news.

Micha had a feeling that he might be heading to see the elves himself.

Sygnet made her way to the South Gate of Bree and into the stables and went to find her Appaloosa steed and began to saddle her.

After one last stop by the prancing pony for a ration of dried meats Micha headed down to the east gate and followed the road down towards stadddle. Micha had found the hobbits would house his horse for much less than the stable fees in bree and they had exceptional pipe weed at that.


He picked up some of that pipeweed along the way to Syndar. Synday was a light chocolate brown steed with white main and tail. The thick bodied horse looked stout enough to travel to Ered Luin and back!

He packed his things in his saddle bags and mounted the barebacked horse. He never cared for saddles and found them to be dead weight. Besides his horse had to carry his armour too.

Sygnet mounted her horse and began the slow trot down the road towards the Lone-Lands, Staddle rested on the hill above the worn and beaten path.

Micha trotted Syndar along the staddle road towards the eastern fields. Down in the valley he could see another horse heading along the east road towards the lonelands. He paused for a moment, then headed on towards the midgwater marshes.
