Sygnet began to settle down for the night. She found a nice wall to lean up against and curled up under her cloak, pulling out a book and beginning to read it.

Micha settled in for the night and slept well. Knowing they had elves around them and travelers he was certain they were safe.

When morning came he was up before the sun to step out into the woods for a short while to hunt.

He managed to shoot himself a small bird, but eager to get back on the road he spent no more time. He cleaned the bird and stuck it's meat in his pack for dinner later that day.

Heading back to the camp he sold, traded, and pawned his gleenings for the bird and the bobcat back in the lonelands. He never got a lot, but it was enough to sustain his travels as he went.

Sygnet had again fallen asleep reading her book and was still snoozing when Micha had finished his trading.

Micha looked over at Sygnet, laying with her book. He waited for her to wake.

"You enjoy reeding quite a bit it seems," he said with a slight smile.

Sygnet awoke suddenly and looked around groggily, "Hmm?" she asked quietly, blinking and peering at him curiously, "Oh...yeah," she said.

"What do you read? If you don't mind me asking?"

Micha started packing his things.

Sygnet got to her feet and began packing her things, "It's a book. About an elf who fell in love with a human. It is a childish book but I love it all the same," she said, stretching as she mounted her horse.

Micha nodded. Noting her late husband he didn't think it proper to inquire any further.

"Well, Rivendel grows closer." He looked around, almost as if a nervous shiver ran up his spine. "Soon we will find out just what this evil is that lurks over the land."

She nodded, mounting her noble steed and turning to walk down the hill with him, east towards Rivendell.

As the two travelers made their way towards rivendel tensions seemed to rise. Whether just in Micha, or if also in his companion he was unsure. The air seemed to grow thicker.

Upon entering the valley of Rivendel the air seemed to clear and a sort of peace fell over Micha.

Sygnet was nervous and she began to shake slightly. Her father used to visit this time of year, so he would be here. As they entered the Gates Of Imladris, she stopped her horse, "I can't," she said.

Micha stopped shortly after noticing Sygnet stop. At her words he waited a moment, not sure what exactly to say.

"Is there anything I could do to?"

Sygnet turned her horse and began trotting away. She thought she was strong but she couldn't face her father after everything she did to him.

Micha paused another moment, unsure whether to just let her go or not.

Syndar stamped his feet and Micha turned him around. He didn't say anything, he just followed.
