I'm not sure how many graphic makers there are still left here on AU, but for any still lurking about- Adobe has made Photoshop CS2 free to download... Yay!

I use CS2 myself and even though I've used newer versions (CS5 & 6) I think its the easiest to use.

I am going to download it.. I have NO idea how to use programs like this but I am needing to learn.


I am going to have to be making my own book covers for some of my books. I don't have the money to pay a professional to do all my covers.

Any tips on sites to look at for book cover tutorials by chance?

^Does the download still work? I remember Adobe changed their minds shortly after I posted it. I think you can still get CS2 free through Adobes website if you have an old enough computer though


General photoshop tumblrs or searching for "photoshop tutorials" on deviant art are probably the best place to start, though there's some great tutorials in the resources section of the forum too.

No, it did not work.

You have to have a serial number in order to finish the download, which I am assuming you probably get from a purchased copy of the program.

Hm... I am not figuring that one out either... it downloaded an EZ dowloader program and a weather program... that tells me what the weather forcast is... *shrugs*


i think I found a few free online programs that I can use together to get what I am looking for, though.
