Hm... that's neat. What would be even better is if they just made a program to let you upload your own soundtrack music!

I totally agree, that would be awesome! I just bought Sims 3 for my Xbox 360 because they don't have Sims 4 for that console. I'm curious to see if I can just play the music I have on my system already, it would be about the same. I don't trust getting computer games very often just because half the time it seems you don't have the right setups for the game to work.

Yeah, the set up stuff always confuses me.... I am not sure why they have to make it so complicated for some things.
And then you have your firewalls and all those other programs that I never even knew existed on my computer that are blocking games from doing certain things... O_@ It can get a little nuts.
I miss the good old days when you just stuck a disk in, clicked instal, waited, and were done.

Yep, they are starting to head that way with console games too it seems, Some games with the new consoles you can only play online, for example my sister's boyfriend bought the new game Destiny, got it home and found out it's only playable online. My thought is what's the point of the disc then.

Yeah, that's what I wonder.... why the disc?
I love certain online games like LOTR and TOR but at the same time there are some games that I would never want to be only online.
Some games, like starwars battle front is playable ofline but has a great online multiplayer mode, That is the way it should be. Battlefront would be extremily limited and not NEAR as much fun if it was ALL online.
I was actually considering buying the new sims game but with it only being online it's a no go for me. I have a laptop for a reason... mobility... having games that don't have the same mobility kind of defeats the purpose for me.

I think once you activate it online you can play it offline. my sister has it on her computer and she plays it without internet connection. But she says she was kinda disappointed with it. Looking at Amazon's reviews it's about tied with how many 5 stars people have gave it to 1 star. So I guess it's a tossup if you would like it or not.

oh, I see. Well that is certainly much better than what I was thinking. I thought you could not play it at all but if it's just to activate it that is not near as bad.
Hm.... yeah I guess it's hard to tell from amazon reviews like that.

If you play on your PC you can actually add your own music quite easily. I love the Sims 4 and can't wait for the next expansion pack which will be out soon-ish.

I really do like the idea of being able to add your own music. I wosh more games would do that.
Anyone know how the I pod version of the sims plays from the app store in comparison to the sims 4?

I've abandoned Sims 4 and gone back to 3. I might love the fourth game but it lacks too many features for me to be able to get properly into it where I lose myself in gaming for hours.

Yeah. That is kind of how a lot of games work.
I know by some of the things you mentioned that I would probably be the same way. The I pod version is similar. I just can't get into it. Pluss it requires internet connection sonIbam limited by that and don't enjoy that.

Even with the extension sims 4 just seems too focused on parties and whatnot. It's a huge disappointment.

Hm... Well that is no fun.
I always enjoyed having a career and advancing through the ranks and building relationships with other sims and increasing their stats on creativity and all the other options.

I've heard rumors that toddlers might be returning, but also ones that they might not. I want supernatural, toddlers, pets and seasons back!

Yeah, it jsut doesn't make sense to come out with a "new version" and then have less content.
They should out that stuff back in.

You would think seasonal options would be an automatic thing they would add. To bad that it's not so far.
