You'll do awesome! Just be yourself, be honest, and dress to impress.

Pffffffffffftttttttttttt That was basically a massive fail if you ask me... not that the interview questions were difficult, it's just that I'm so awkward and unsure of what to say... basically a trainwreck in a nutshell, but at least I learned a bit from it. Also not sure I want the job tbh, for what they're paying and I have no idea how much weight I'd be lifting with the boxes... honestly I think Imma pass up this one. Just kinda glad I got my first experience over with so I can be better prepared for the next time

Jobs are a pain, but around here there aren't a lot of opportunities so I jumped on the first job I could get when I first started with jobbing... which isn't a word but I am still recovering from vacation.
Woooo I didn't miss my reply and internets comes next week for me

Yeah, jobs are a pain... With interviews the best way to go into to it a lot of times is slightly confident but not overly so... Employers want someone who is going to take the lead and do what needs to be done. (At least around here) But yeah, your first job interview is always a kind of nerve weecking thing. Cool, good to have internet, Pandora.

Hey guys! I'm here in good ol' Scotland at mum's, crappy net and all. At least I have my trusty laptop though!
Loving everyone's posts, can't wait for it to be my turn. As I sit I have a view of he sea from my window and it's super inspiring! I should have more time to continue work on my bios ect as well, fingers crossed.
I'm sorry you aren't feeling so positive about your job Ara, lovely. Panda's right though, sometimes you need to work the gritty jobs o then have better appreciation of the less gritty jobs! It's all good experience, trust me. I met my better half working with him in a bar after all.

Wooo! I'll have to read the replies after work tonight or tomorrow. And as far as jobs go, I feel in any situation what's far more important to look at than money or job priorities, etc, is how the employees and management team interact/get along with one another. Like what's their turnover rate? I've worked for minimum wage but it didn't matter because I adored my co-workers and employers and I was willing to go to the moon and back for them and vice versa. It was family. And then I've worked for a better paycheck and made decent money but I hated my life because my employer was terrible as they come and the work environment was caustic. End of the day (especially when you do have choices and don't have to suffer in order to provide a good life for a family), I would choose to make pennies but be happy every day. And that was my ramble for today.

Aye, I'd rather enjoy my job and I just don't feel like that was the right match for me, honestly. Working on my reply right now - I'm about half done so it should be up sometime tonight. It'll probably be the last before vacation unless we all manage to post again before Sunday

Oh yes! You will love Colonial Williamsburg! It's one of my favorite places that I've ever visited.
Tomorrow, I begin packing... I hate it. Hate moving. It sends the OCD into overdrive because there's boxes and things everywhere. And general clutter. It makes me want to just throw everything away and start entirely new.

I am still in a state of moving since we got our house. Our individual rooms aren't done yet. My library is a mess sending me into a fit of anxiety whenever I look at it. Good luck with the move hales. As for you lothy, I am super jealous of you right now with your sea view!! Sometimes I had to work in a job I didn't like until I found a job I did enjoy. I've had my share of crap jobs mixed in with good ones. Honestly if I could travel and make money that is really the only job I'd enjoy. Or writing a bestseller of course. For now I just do what I can as jobs around here are not easy to come by. I make money and for now that's good for me until I win the lottery

Post is up! I'm sure Williamsburg will definitely be one of my new favorite places Better than Pennsylvania Good luck with moving, both of you! I honestly wish we were moving but I suppose that'll come in due time. Though I feel like it's taking forever And honestly I'd love a job where I'm paid to sleep. I'd be sooo good at that Too bad it doesn't actually work that way.
