I guess I could contact her there, but I've been having some issues with Twitter. A lot of sites no longer support my browser, so it gets difficult to keep up with all media.

Really? Cool! I didn't know the mods even got on anymore. Yeah, that'd be awesome! Do you happen to have contact with Emma_Swan? Her tinker ell and I talked quite a bit in here but when I had to take a break from the flrum Ingot back on and they had both vanished.

Only Tink. She is one of the few people I have contact details with away from A-U. I'll try to tweet her tomorrow. I don't know if she'll get it, because she did tell me she hardly ever uses her account.

Ah, well maybe tell her to tell anyone else she has contact info for. Her and emma talked on here a lot. Maybe she has her contact info. Either way... If we could even get a few back that'd be awesome!

Also, Bellatrix is around. She changes her username often, so it seems like she is gone, but she is here.
If Marida doesn't see our talk of Family Tree revival, I'll PM her and let her know.

Ah. Okay. I wasn't sure. I think it might be a good idea to think of some kind of group activity we could all do, to entice people to come back. Returning for a chat and catch up isn't going to cut it.

Agreed. We have tried a few things, like bringing up old posts and conversations etc... Teying to post in all the sections sonthe place seems more actove to newcomers.
An activity sounds good, though. Anything in mind?

Someone drew the family tree when I started on here. That got a real buzz going for a little while. Maybe something like that. Or a spouse related activity. Perhaps a your talent spouse appreciation thing. That isn't specific either. If that person is good at graphics, make a graphic about them. Or draw them. Write a poem about them. Or story. Anything. They don't have to be super talented to participate either. Even getting a pic of the character or actor, etc, and cropping it to a 125x125 icon and adding nothing else counts. Major credit just for taking the time to put it together.

I like that idea. The spouse appreciation thing! I think almost everyone is married to a fictional character or actor etc... And everyone loves making things about their favorite characters and actors. Lol I am not married in the family tree, but for those of us that are not we could do a parent appreciation thing maybe.

That would be good. But then again, people who do have spouses might to show their appreciation for their family tree parent. I guess it could be parent appreciation instead. Or a your choice kind of thing. If your parent or children are active, you can do something nice for them. If not, your spouse. Or could pick spouse regardless.

Honestly I Think the spouse appreciation would be a better idea, myself.
I think I might be one of the few who doesn't have a spouse anyways. Maybe a few others.

It could be a certain day, like Family Tree Day. Covering all the stuff we talked about. There are a few other people on the family tree list who just don't post in this thread anymore. I guess we should sort out an invite list, to decide who we're sending invite messages to. If the mood strikes me, I might make an invite graphic. Just for fun.

That would be great. We'll hold off on invites until we have the graphics sorted. It is at the end of a semi-long list right now. My inspiration is tied with book and current obsession. But if inspiration hits, it might come sooner. If I can't think of something in a week, we'll ask someone else.

Sounds like a plan. I'll make a list of people I know that I can send invites to so when the time comes I've got them. We could also post a general invite in the facebook group and on the AU social media sites. (Which I rarely get on now days) If nothing else there are those websites where you can make free virtual invitations or greetings cards. We could do something like that.
