Bitter Tears 1-6-2017
The tears the tears, These bitter tears. Inside each drop, It holds my fears. So many fears I turn and run, Yet I still feel each and every one.
My tears and fears, They have become. Memories, Of all you've done. All the times you broke my heart, And all the times I fell apart.
The tears the tears, These bitter tears. Inside each drop, Consumed with fear. If I listen closely I can hear, The sound of cursing in my ear.
All the things, That you have said. All the times, You left me for dead. How you filled my jumbled head, With this ever present dread.
As I cry, These bitter tears. Blurry vision, Slowly clears. As I gaze on all my scars, A frigged cold comes from afar.
All my tears, They are now frost. As I see, What life will cost. All that I've the strength to do, Is hang my head and say, "I'm through..."
The tears the tears, These bitter tears. No more shall fall, No more fears. For life has played it's final hand, It's left this cold and broken man.

Thank you. I do appreciate the read and comment. I guess I put a lot of my emotions into poetry as a way of getting them out without having to go on a rant and divulge all my personal issues to a bunch of people who will grow tired of hearing me complain about life! Hehe But then other poems are just fun to write and I enjoy the creation of them very much.

Gotcha. I know that feeling.... never a really fun one in my experience. I hope you get a good direction and all is well. Whatever path you end up taking I hope you find a path you enjoy. It makes life so much fuller and richer. I've been stuck in a lot of places, jobs, and situations, that I abhorred... makes for a miserable time.
