Since everyone is doing older songs.
This is the first song I ever learned on the guitar.

I don't know the words to the Canadian anthem, but here they are:
O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free! From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

I didn't take a video of this last night as I was to into listening to and watching the show. This is from the show in San Francisco a couple weeks ago. My friend Molly Rogers is playing the violin and Tina Guo is playing the cello.

This song originates in the 1800s about the Irish uprising in the late 1700s It's a well known Irish tune and even taught in schools in Ireland to my understanding.

Yes, I thought it well done too!
Gregg Allman, another rock icon of my youth has passed away. Back when I was listening to the Allman Brothers and getting a taste of what I called 'country rock', these guys were into hard living. The live album they did at Fillmore East was what turned out to be a pinnacle for the band. It was not long after when the guitarist Duane Allman was killed in a motorcycle accident, and I remember back then how devastated I was. I lost some of that vibe for the Allman Brothers after that, but Gregg Allman really had a voice.
