(I think it's called the collar bone?... that might be the area you're talking of... ) Eleshna encountered an orc with two blades. "cheater" she mumbled with a slight snort as she blocked the double swings by crossing her dagger and sword blades. Pushing the orc back, she turned to her side and kicked high, breaking his neck. (*loves battle scenes* ^^) Turning around, she realized she was nearly enclosed in the flow of orcs. She ducked the blow of one and leapt over the blade of another, then grabbed both by their... hair... (if you could call it hair... haha) and slammed their heads together. As they stumbled, dazed, she decapitated one with her sword, and gutted the other with her dagger.

After a while, the haft of Morwen's axe broke. "Awiergan thaet!" She stuck the remainder of the axe into her belt and drew her sword. "Shield, shield, where's my shield?" She needed a shield to fight with a sword. (It was just part of the "style". :-D )

Eleshna heard Morwen call for her shield, and as a horse came past her (just happened to be Morwen's horse ^^) , she snatched the shield hanging from the saddlery, and faught her way over to Morwen. "You called for a shield?" Eleshna said with a grin as she tossed it over to Morwen.

(Any time now, Deawen and Artinwe...)

"Ic þe þancas do! (I thank you)" she said. The shield had stunned one of the orcs advancing on her, but he was back up and ready. "Riht!" She gripped the handle in the bell of her shield and bashed the orc with the shield and cut his collar bone (thankyou) in the same fluid movement. Disentangling her sword she slashed and thrust behind her, finding the target just behind her right shoulder, then thrusting under her shield arm and found another there. An arrow whistled past her brow and slashed a nasty cut there. Blood trickled into her eyes. "La! No helmet." She muttered oaths not fit to write, cut down three more of the enemy and attempted to go back to camp.

(^^ no problem. ... O_O hey... we're fighting alone... lol) "Lle Creoso... I mean... you're welcome... " She nodded breifly. Eleshna swiftly pulled her bow and disposed of the orc who fired the arrow, smirking at Morwen's muttering. Returning to the use of her dagger and sword, she cut down a few orcs before getting clipped in the side by a heavy blade from a large orc. Furrowing her brows in anger, Eleshna braught her sword down in an angle, slicing across the orc's chest, following it up by thrusting her dagger in his neck. She pulled both blades out with a harsh twisting motion, letting the carcass fall limp as she turned to block the attack of several more orcs.

(I posted my bio earlier but this is my first proper post)(btw I'm still new to this so sorry if I make any mistakes)

Darrell had been riding south for many days. The town of Dale was well on the way to being repaired and he wished to help destroy the remainder of the orcs of the dark powers who had slain his king. He had heard of Deawen's army and wished to help.

As he rode over the plains east of Gondor he heard the clamour of battle and the voices of many orcs. He spurred his horse in the direction of the noise, drawing his sword.

(Deawen is gone until tomorrow, at least.)

The orcs were circling around Artinwe, closing him in. He had no room to swing Hyandorod (my glaive), so he was forced to draw Ringil. " By the Valar," he swore, "Orcs aren't allowed to fight with a strategy!" He hewed an orc at its midriff, then brought the blade around, cleanly severing another orc's jugular. "Go for the neck" was his fighting motto, and it served him well. Incapacitate them long enough for all of their blood to spill out. He spotted Morwen and Eleshna a ways away, and yelled, "Oy, Morwen! Ubi Deawen est (where is Deawen)?" "[I don't know! I thought you would have!]" she yelled back in Rohirric. "Brilliant, then," he seethed as an orc charged, blade raised. Artinwe sliced its hands off at the wrists, then buried Ringil in its reeking chest.

Eleshna crouched, whirled, and sliced three orcs at once, then rolled beneath the legs of another orc while slicing both off above the knees. She rolled to her feet, kicking the orc's helmet off, and brought her blade down on his skull, splicing his whole head. She yanked the blade out and continuing the motion, decapitated an orc behind her. Being grabbed from behind, she growled. Slamming her elbow into the orc's stomach, she thrust her sword behind her, impaling the orc in the side. She pulled her blade out with a twist, dark blood splattering everywhere. Spitting, she cursed and muttered, "orc blood isn't exactly a nice flavor..." As Eleshna faught on, an orc coming in at her side clashed his blade against her sword hilt ...her sword being through another orc... cutting into her hand. She grimaced, but held her sword firmly, the blood sliding down the hilt. Kicking the orc in the shin, then kneeing him in the chest, she took a step back and decapitated him forcefully.

(Lovely. I finally had to use my sister's laptop to get on. I hate Macs.)

The camp was made upon a hill, in Deawen's style. As Morwen ran up, she could see the Phantoms and Dragon tears all fighting further away. The nearer orcs were being taken care of by Eleshna, Artinwe, and (I assume) Deawen. The blood was starting to blind her as she ran to her pack to get a rag. She came back out with her longbow and began to snipe off orcs from the outer edges of the battle.

(Sniping? Where? It sounds fun and crunchy!)

Artinwe fought over to Eleshna. "Come with me," he pressed urgently. "We have to get you proper medical treatment for your hand. That's a nasty cut you've got there." "I'm fine, honestly," she said. "If several nerves severed is fine, then yeah, I'll agree with that. Look, if you don't want to come, then here." Artinwe placed his hand on hers, and healed the breach as best he could; it would be enough. He ran off to join Morwen sniping.
