Cindy looked at Harry and briefly nodded with raised eyebrows, but looked back at Dumbledore as he formally dismissed them. "Oh, thank goodness..." she said, putting down her napkin and getting up. "I'm off to bed," she said, going straight to Gryffindor Tower.

Hermione got up and stormed out of the Great Hall. She tried to calm down as she made her way up to her dorm. She arrived at the Portrait, gave the Fat Lady the password and made her way up to the girl's dormitory.
She unpacked her pajamas and started to get dressed in a huffy silence.

Cindy laughed. "I have no idea," she said. "Honestly. We sat down and it was perfectly fine, we were just friends. Then, halfway through the dinner, he looked at me, and there was something different in the way he looked at me. After a while, I felt my face get warm every time we met eyes. It was weird. Stacy, Izzy, Fred, George, and Ron got a good laugh, though."
