Miranda looked down; her face felt oddly warm. "Mr. Martin," she called, "Camp's ready."
Later on, Miranda was the last to go to sleep. She lay her head down on the earth, not really caring where, for it was almost dawn.

Elizabeth woke, hearing some noises, and she sat up and looked around. She pushed the blanket off her legs, and stood up silently, before walking toward the edge of the campsite.

Tired and groggy, Miranda raised her head and looked toward the lake. In the moonlight, she could see Elizabeth's figure walking toward the creek. Careful not to wake or step on any of the others, she rose and followed her.
