Danielle kissed Sirius and started off toward Gryffindor tower. She walked up the staircase, down a corridor, up another staircase, and down another empty corridor. She thought she heard someone behind her, and stopped. She didn't hear anything, so kept walking. She heard it again. She was so fed up that she simply whipped around and punched - it was Regulus, Sirius's creepy little brother. "Regulus?!" she yelled. She was so fed up with everything she punched him again and pushed him against a wall. "You are going to be in so much trouble when your brother finds out," she laughed.

"I still can't believe he's dating a half-blood like you," he said, "It's a disgrace to the-"

Danielle socked him in the jaw. "Shut up," she snarled.

Sirius decided to go to bed. He walked along the corridors. When he turned the corner he saw Danielle pinning his younger brother against the wall.
"Danielle? Whats going on?" He said, although he already knew the answer, he drew his wand and made his way over to his Slytherin brother.

Danielle raised her eyebrows at Regulus after socking his jaw, as if to say 'I told you so,' and looked at Sirius. "Wartbreath here-" - she pushed him away from her - "-decided to follow me through the halls."

Sirius made a tut-tut sound.
"What did you say to her?" He bellowed, pinning his brother to the wall. Regulus's lip and nose was bleeding.
"Nothing really." Regulus snarled, "Only that she is a disgrace to the family the filthy little half-blo..."
Sirius punched him in the stomach. Regulus fell to the floor gasping for air.
"DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT ABOUT MY GIRLFRIEND!! DANIELLE IS NOT A DISGRACE!" He bellowed. He kicked his brother. He pointed his wand at Regulus's head. Sirius bent down.
"Stay away from her, you foul git." He snarled. Sirius socked him in the nose and stood up.
"Immobulus!" He cried. Regulus suddenly froze, unable to move, the only thing that could move were his eyes. They were full of hate.

Danielle stood off to the side and looked away. She had never seen him that angry, but she was still mad herself from that little freak's calling her a disgrace. Her eyes stung and moistened, and when it was all done, she leaned her head on Sirius's shoulder as he put his arm around her.

"I'm sorry." He whispered. He hated having a pureblood family who hated anyone but purebloods. He put his arms around her and held her.

Danielle nodded and walked to the Common Room with him, his arm around her shoulders. She didn't speak, for fear of crying - if she was silent, she usually kept her tears back very well.

Danielle sat on a chair beside Sirius and stared at the fire. It had been a dismal day for her...she looked up at Sirius when she sensed him looking at her.
