Obi-Wan gave a small smile and jerked his head to his apprentice. "Just keeping this one out of trouble." He chuckled as he realized how much trouble they actually had gotten into.

Padme laughed at Anakin. But she was a little uncomfortable at his words. "Ani you'll always be that little boy I knew on Tatooine." She then turned to Emmeline and gave a small shake of her head. She had asked her handmaiden not to be so formal but Emmeline had insisted. Padme still felt a sisterly love for her regardless if she was "milady" or "miss." "No thank you Emmeline. Why don't you take a break? It's been a long day."

Reia laughed at Obi-Wan's last remark. "I expect that's a lot of work."

Obi-Wan nodded. "Can be." But then he thought about her work at piloting. He immediately became worried. He hated flying and was always afraid someone would approach him saying Reia or Anakin were killed in a flying accident. "I hope your not as crazy as a pilot as Anakin." He meant it. His padawan was going to get himself killed someday.

Reia laughed again and shook her head. "I'm not," she said, smiling. "I just graduated from the Academy...that's why you haven't seen a lot of me lately...it was a very demanding program. Trust me, there was no room for being reckless." She sensed his concern, and said, "Don't worry, I'll be fine."

Obi-Wan just sighed. "Flying is so dangerous. I hate how much you and Anakin are involved in it." Thank goodness women are some what more cautious than men.

Reia shook her head, still smiling. "Look, I promise, if I ever get into an accident - heaven forbid - you'll be the first to know, okay? I'll tell my commanding officer that." It had just hit her that she hadn't mentioned that she herself was a lieutenant in the Air Force...

Obi-Wan looked up, puzzled. His eyebrows knit together in confusion. "You have a commanding officer?!"

Reia made a face as if to say, 'Oops.' She looked straight into his blue eyes. "I am in the Alderaanian Air Force...technically I'm 'Lieutenant' Antilles."

Obi-Wan's concern just rose to a whole new level. "Your in the Air Force?! Reia, that's even worse then being reckless. You'd be put into danger against your own will."

Reia looked at him and smiled. "I appreciate your concern, but I can take care of myself, Obi-Wan." She put her hand on his again. "Besides, I'm an officer myself, and only have to worry about training. It's highly unlikely that I'll ever be put into real combat." After a moment, she added, "It's something that I love, and will always love." She felt strangely nervous mentioning the word 'love' around him for some reason...

"Anyway," she said, looking up at everyone else, "I have to go, I'm sorry. Training," she laughed. "It's been nice seeing you again Padme, Eljaraj," she nodded to each of them in turn. "And remember, if anything happens, my communicator will go off, and I'll come right over. Don't worry," she laughed when she came upon Obi-Wan. She put a hand on his shoulder as she walked past him. "I'll be fine - flying is the best thing in the world." She went into the elevator and waved goodbye to them as the doors closed.

Guys I am sorry I am so late I forgot to tell you my family and I went to the mountains for thanksgiving in the woods. No internet.
