"We will miss you to Susan." She said feeling foolish for being jelous. But then she stopped crying. "But you are going to have fun in America I bet." She said cheerfully.

Edmund stares off into space, feeling queasy and wishing he could have something to eat. He blinks out of his trance after a moment and looks over at Susan. "Yes, Su, you'll have all the fun in America.... See the sights, meet new people... We'll just be here, same old place, same boring London...." Edmund sighs, and the queasy feeling gets worse. He winces slightly and shifts positions. An odd tugging sensation enters the back of his mind, but he shrugs it off without a second thought.
