Miranda looked up at him. His eyes were directly on her, almost piercing. She opened her mouth, then closed it and looked down before saying, "She said she's attracted to Tavington..." she took a breath to keep herself from getting too angry, for she hated Tavington with all of her heart.

He nodded slightly, and he sighed.
((ok..I think we should skip for around two months later...when the war is starting to subside. Elzabeth is now enganged to Tavington, and she's headed toward the farm))
Around two months later, Tavington and Elizabeth were heading to the farm, both talking about their history. Both had fallen in love with each other and had been enganged the night before. Now, they were headed to Elizabeth's friends' place, hoping that Tavington could get a pardon, and they could get a blessing from the Martins.

Miranda paused in her sewing. Since her uncle had died two months earlier, she had to stay with the Martins....she missed him terribly. Though, she - she heard hoofbeats and looked up. A redcoat was approaching on a horse, with...Elizabeth? She jumped up and went to the railing.

Elizabeth came closer and she looked at Tavington. She smiled and he dismounted, before helping her off. "Miranda." she said, walking to her old friend.
