Miranda looked quickly from her to Bordon, then realized she had no choice but to listen. She found the children and told them that they were leaving, and to take one set of clothes and one small toy each, except for Susan, who got to take two toys. While she mounted her horse, she asked, "Elizabeth, what's going to happen?"
