OE: Used in Middle-Ages, Rohirric is based on it. Ex: Lórien is Swefnfréa
ArE: It's like a style of writing in LotR (My master Sauron the Great bids thee welcome) or in Bible, Robinson Crusoe & other old books. Ex: My master Sauron the Great bids thee welcome
I could make this way longer ...  Still I'm not sure whether I've explained this right. =S
