Coffee is a nessesary part of my morning. I started drinking it a couple years ago- when I started high school. I don't think I could survive without it...

er... I think it's some kind of milk... or dairy product. a few people love it, but I tried it last Christmas and I gagged. it tasted milk-ish, except creamier and thicker and sweeter.

It's the most delicious thing on the face of the planet!!! But only the Safeway brand, the rest are too watery. It's sooo good!!! It's hard to describe, but it only comes out around Christmas. It's thick, flavored, sweet, milk. That sounds disgusting but it's good

From wikipedia....

Quote:
Jump to: navigation, search

Eggnog (or egg nog) is a type of milk-based punch belonging to the posset family. It originates in Europe and its name is a concatenation of its two original ingredients, egg and nog, a strong English ale.

Modern eggnog typically consists of milk, eggs, and sugar mixed together and may be served with or without added spirits. Other ingredients include spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon, or allspice.

Eggnog is typically served as a Christmas time drink or during New Year's eve. Although eggnog can be produced from "homemade" recipes, ready-made eggnog containing alcohol and "just-add-alcohol" versions are available for purchase in a variety of stores. It can be added as a flavouring to food or other drinks. Whisky, brandy, or cognac can be added to eggnog.

So there you have it. A full definition of egg nog. :)

eggnog isn`t really known here in Finland...

We have got Glogg instead... it`s red wine, which is heated and spiced with cinnamon sticks, cloves and sugar.

well first of all nothing here is big or clamorous, there are lot of woods and lakes(Finland can be called the land of thousand lakes)... what else? Our language is hard to learn for those who aren`t born finnish or so I have heard...

It`s a peaceful country and few shocking things happen... so let`s just say that we are a peaceful country in the middle of nowhere with lots of woods and lakes :-D

That sounds wonderful! lol. Sounds very different from Australia. I'd love to go there. :) I'd love to go just about anywhere, actually. Not that I dont like it here, I love it, but I also like travel. And the scandinavian countries.
But yeah....

I feel like asking questions... learning things....

Who here has been out of your country? Where from, and where to? What was it like?

I'm from Slovenia :disgust: and because of my silly parents and their excuses I don't travel much. Yuck, zat stinks.
Probably the best was going to Chech Rep. ... But I was only 9 so I didn't enjoy it very much - now I'd love to go anywhere.
I wanna visit Scandinavia, Aussie & Canada (yay for snow! lol) but going round the world wouldn't be bad ... ;)
