I would like to state something that has to do with this thread. Just because people like the color black does not mean they are gothic. Most people will call them gothic because they wear the color black. I dont like people who judge people by what they look like or what they dress like. I mean i dont want to catagrize anyone, but this seems to be a big issue among alot of schools and groups of people in this world. Preppy people call people who wear black gothic just because they were black. THey could be punk, harcore and gothic. They could also be poser as well. and people who listen to that kind of music also thing they are gothic too. but they are also posers at the same time.

Now i just want to say My OPionon on peoples these days.

People who listen to Good Charlet and simple plan and all that kind of music are not Gothic. THey ay weear black stuff because they think they are cool and gothic but they are really not.

Second people who listen to Softcore and hardcore music are not gothic either. It more like As I lay Dying avenged Sevenfold and all that stuff.

adn then are people most common people listen to slipknot, Mudvyyane, tool, godsmack, marilyn manson, lamb of god. that is not gothic people that is NuMetal.

ANd there are people who wear black stuff who listen to Heavy Metal but they are not GOthic.

You can wear tripp pants and still not be gothic. Expect people want to call them gothic just beacuse of what they wear.

Now for an example, I wear black clothes, pleather and tripp pants all the times but that does not make me gothic. I listen to Death/black metal. I am a Metal head not a gothic person. My personal opionon is that it determines what kind of music you listen to that determins what you are.

And personal i hate the people who are "gothic" adn call other "gothics" poser. because they dont listen to their kind of music. And if i see someone who listen to slipknot i dont call them poser i liek to keep it to myself. And i hate slipknot.

SO yeah there my personal take on that
