Jack cringed as Vari slapped him hard over the face. His face burned twice as bad, from all the slaps he had gotten just on his way to the inn. His body twisted around from the slap and he sighed, "I don't think I deserved that one either."
(Ok...guys, I've posted..PLEASE wait for me to come back and post, and do not carry on the story without me!)

Devina strechted and laughed "The infamouse Jack Sparrow, beaten up by a woman. What a sight. Maybe youre loseing ye spark mate?" she sipped her rum in a playfull manner, eyes sparkling from over the rim.

Jack smirked towards her with lazy eyes, "That's exactly what I mean love." He was speaking in riddles, and was clearly making no sense to anybody, but himself. He then gave a flick to her head playfully, but it was a hard flick, none the less.

Vari looked at him and scowled, and just as she was about to make a rude remark, she felt something touch her knee. Looking down, she found Will's hand resting there. She said nothing and smiled, and placed her hand on his.

Jackie rolled her eyes underneath her lids and sipped her drink when the bartender handed her one. She had still not lost her sense of propriety, modesty, and most of all, dignity, perhaps even pride. She suddenly felt a hand on her knee, almost her mid thigh, and looked up. A disgusting drunk had put his hand there. She smacked it away, and he uttered a rude remark. She shook her head and said, "Don't do it, sir..." He reached out to her, and she slammed her drink down, grabbed his collar, and broke his nose with one punch. She looked around at all of the stunned faces, and said, "Yes, well...I must be going now," and left for the Pearl.

Vari looked at Jackie, and sighed. This wasn't the first time Jackie had done something like this. Only, last time, She had no idea Vari was watching.
Vari ignored it, and turned back to Will. "You know Devina's going to be jealous...."
Elizabeth sat down by the porthole and thought. "Why do they treat me like this?" She questioned aloud. "Why do they treat me like dirt?" She had no idea Jackie had been standing at the doorway. "Well, I'll show them," Elizabeth said. "I'll just join Barbossa next time..." She saw Jackie. "Oh crud, you heard that, didn't you??"[/i]
