Miranda nodded and went with Bordon. She glanced back at them all, then ran off into the distance.
When they arrived on the estate, Miranda snuck into the stables and stole three horses. She guided them back to the woods, leaving them with Bordon. She ran back and stole three more, again leaving them with him and finally riding one back. Although it was quite a task to do so, they finally guided all of the horses back through the woods to their spot, which was by now a makeshift camp with everyone asleep. She walked over to Gabriel and shook him gently. "Gabriel," she whispered.

"Yes," she whispered. "We just need your help with them..." she coughed again. "Is there a river around here or something?" she asked, clearing her throat.

"That's probably it..." she said, clearing her throat. "It's probably the dampness..." She took a horse and led it to the creek.

Miranda let the horse drink and stroked the side of its neck. She suddenly felt his eyes on her, looked up, and smiled. She coughed again, and said, "I think I'm getting a cough.."

Miranda nodded and followed him, guiding her horse beside her. She stroked its neck and its nose; it licked her hand. By the time they had gotten back to camp, Elizabeth was already awake.

Elizabeth was stronger than the night before, and she slowly stood up. She walked over to the two Dragoons and gently woke them up.
