Background.........hm......

Jax was born in the Mangrove swamps of South Africa, at a very young age captured and shiped to (wherever this is taking place)

He soon was found and released by a group of sympathetic squirls and taken in as one of them.

Allong the way however Jax became incresingly mischevious nd cuirios. (however you spell them)

After being framed for the robery of the crown of the king of a isolated group of birds Jax escaped them, finaly convincing them that he was not the rober.

In exchange for there trust he aided in securing the crown from the real rober, and was awarded a place in the kings guards which he decided to turn down to be with his family.

(not sure how good it is, but that's what came to mind)

(ok, I'll try but I am not great at those kinds of things)
Twitterjax was born into a poor familly in a Mossflower wood. Her father, never accepting help from anyone, would go out and try to find food everyday on his own untill one day he didn't come back. After that Twitterjax went out to do the hunting, her mother got very sick and eventually died leaving twitterjax on her own to fend for herself. One day when she had been out gathering herbs she was captured by some large vermin which she couldn't tell what it was, she was hit over the back of her head, not able to defend herself because she was sick. When she woke up she was in a strange place that she had never seen before, the rats and others that had captured her were nowhere to be seen. And thats where she is right now, lost pretty much Twitterjax is very goofy and optomistic and very good at fighting from having to defend herself most her life. She is very loyal and always stands for good.

Sylvis learned how to fight at Salamandastron; traveled with the Long Patrol. Apart from that, not much. No personal tragedy (except for the death of one of his close comrades, hence the misericord), no capturing by vermin; I'm a fairly run-of-the-mill squirrel.

*sighs* Well, since you all seem to be so impatient, I'll go ahead and post the storyline...*grins*

Storyline: Minara is traveling inland with her crew, when she comes across Redwall. The Abbot takes her in because she's an otter and asks for food and whatnot, but because of her vermin crew, she's not trusted. Some how, I'll figure out how later, her crews mutiny since she's not there and they take off. So Minara, with some people from Redwall and, of course, my trusted friends(you guys), she sails after them. This is only a main line, there can be lots of branches and whatnot, we'll play this out like a book, but each may contribute any ideas......

One day as Jax was out in the woods he noticed an unfamiliar ship docking in the bay.

He watched as the leader exited the ship. But then, some time later, to his surprise the ships left without the otter that lead them there.

Jax ran to town asking around, trying to find the otter to inform her that her ship were leaving.
