Padme marches to the elevator and takes it, moving down to the floor that has the walkway across to Palpatine's building. She crosses the walkway and enters the building. Again she goes to the elevator, but this time takes it straight up, arriving on the floor that Anakin and Palpatine are on.

Sebirrae and her trainer Nagahnna, stood on each side of the
sith they fought, and held out their lightsabers.
For a moment, the sith seeing that he was surrounded was still, but then he slashed out at Sebirrae and both
she and Nagahnna waved their weapons reflexively
and took out their enemy.

"Hurry," said Nagahna. "Let's check out down here now."
she said pointing down the hall to the chancellor's room.
"It feels even darker than before."

"Wait!" said Sebirrae motioning for her trainer to stop.
"Someone's comming." they faced the elevator
where they sensed the new presence approaching.

Palpatine, almost frowned sensing that his sith in the other
room had just failed in taking out the 2 incomming Jedi.

"The power to save your wife from death." the chancellor answered.
"The power to save Padme."

He turned off towards his desk.

Mace Windu, sensing the disturbance in Palpatine's chambers, had come to see what exactly was going on. "Anakin.... What a surprise to see you.... The Sith Lord?!..." His face twists in a scowl, making him look quite fierce, and he shoves past Anakin and smashes open the door to Palpatine's chambers.

Padme hurries down the hall and turns a corner, suddenly seeing Anakin at the other end of the hall and a figure disappearing into the room behind him. She forces herself to walk and goes over to Anakin. "What's going on here, Ani?..." In her haste, she uses his pet name, instead of his real one.

Sebirrae turned towards the chancellor's chambers.
"I'm sensing...something..." she shook her head. "It's the darkside."

"I feel it too." said Nagahna. "Come on!"

The swept off down the hall and walked into the chancellor's room.

Chancellor Palpatine sensed everybody comming.
He turned as the 2 female Jedi walked into his room.
"Oh, Master Jedi Nagahnna, and Sebirrae, " he nodded to her.
"May I help you?"

Sebirrae lips bent in half smile that showed no emotion.
Palpatine made her uneasy.

Nagahna looked at the chancellor suspiciously.
"Is...anyone else here?" she asked him.

"Why no," he said seeming perplexed. "It is just me here,
and, well, you two of course."

Sebirrae sensed others, and turned around for a moment,
then back at Nagahna, "More Jedi are comming," she whispered.

"We sense an indecorous presence here chanceollor," said Nagahna.

"Well, I have no idea why." he sid flatly.

Sebirrae noticed something glimmer next to the chancellor
as she took a few steps to the side. "Is that a lightsaber?"
she asked.

Palpatine glanced at her coldy.

Nagahna noticed as well, and in and instant the two Jedi had
their lightsabers switched on and aimed at the chancellor.

"You're the Sith!" said Sebirrae. "I knew something wasn't right about you." she said.

Mace Windu steps into the chamber right after the other two Jedi and hears their last comment. Upon hearing it, he draws his lightsaber, the sword-like weapon singing angrily. "The Sith Lord!!" Anger clouds his face. "I should've known 'twas you, Palpatine...."

Padme steps in front of Anakin, her eyes flashing. "Anakin, tell me what's going on... Please.... You don't ever tell me anything anymore..." Her voice grows soft, then she raises it again. "I want to know what's going on.... Tell me...."
