Jadis=White Witch and, most agree, the Emerald Queen (in The Silver Chair); but I'm asking what you think about the Jadis/ Emerald Queen controversy

The only real clue we are given is that one of the Owls in the Parliament states that they "Think (she) may be one of the same kind" as the White Witch.

In the old movies of narnia I was under the impresion that the White Witch and the Evil lady in the Silver chair were the same.
But I don't know for sure.... Specialy not in the new ones since I have not seen them.

Actually, it's kind of a stupid question- I don't know of anybody that's not in agreement on the Jadis/Emerald Queen thing. To be honest, though, I hope that the movie version of The Silver Chair does'n't use a plush toy for the serpent form of the Emerald Queen When she attacks Rillian.

I have no idea about Jadis/Emerald Queen but I don't think they are the same, I mean, the manerism is all different too, the white Witch was obsessed with above ground so how come Emerald Queen is under ground and wasn't the White WItch suposed to dies anywayz? *shrugs* I'll read that book
