*raises hand*
But - help? Well, yeah. Harry's a complete disaster, so he'll need some help. And Neville's got to be there to give Voldemort the leverage he needs to kill Harry. Ha ha ha. I've still got to figure out the logistics of this thing. Harry does kill Voldemort - with the help of Neville of course - but dies at the hand of Voldemort. No, Neville. No, Neville USES Voldemort to kill Harry, as he uses Harry to kill Voldemort. Okay. I'm confusing myself. I'm going to stop now....

Aww, why would Neville try to kill Harry?
Poor Neville.

*shakes head*
Nope.
I think Snape will end up saving Harry, and killing Voldie. Or maybe Snape will save Harry, Voldie will kill snape, and Neville will kill Voldie. Just kidding thats a stupid idea...

 Poor Neville? Poor Harry!
I really don't know who will kill who. But it will involve Harry, Voldemort, Snape and Neville I think. (the final showdown)
Actually maybe not Neville. He might just be involved with Bella's murder/capture

Ha ha ha. The final showdown! That's brilliant! Ha ha ha ha!
And I have to agree with the Bella murder/capture...he'll probably have something to do with that.

After all, Neville was the other option(in the prophecy) after Harry. They both have suffer by Voldemort so it makes sense.

I wonder, who thinks that either Ron or Hermionie will die in the next book? Something in my gut tells me that Harry is gonna be one of the very few surviving in the last book.

Ah, I don't think those two will die -- there's no evidence lately that they would die.

I'm willing to bet money that Hermione won't die. Ron or Harry though, I could see it. Not both of them.

Yeah. Same here. I highly doubt Hermione will die. *refer to posts of her joining forces with Voldemort and/or Snape* She's too smart. Evil geniues. . . they never die. Ha ha ha. And I'm willing to bet money that Harry will die. I just don't think it'd be any good if he didn't. Try not to think that I'm utterly morbid (well - I am, but that's not the point) when I say that. The whole catharsis/climax - actual ending would suck if that happened. It would just be another one of those "good guy always beats beats bad guy." And I hate that. And no message would be sent. Okay, so I'm not trying to say that violence is good - but when you fight for what you believe it, you have to understand the consequences of at what cost good triumphs over evil. You know what I'm saying? Okay, enough ranting on my beliefs that Harry is going to die.
But Ron? He's one of those characters that I have NO idea as to what is going to happen. I don't know if I'll be shocked if he dies or if he doesn't. I think I could handle anyone's death (with the exception of Sirius' death) better than Ron's or any of the Weasly family. I don't know why. The same goes for Draco (I nearly had a heart attack when Harry attacked Draco with that spell and it nearly killed him - I just don't know what I would do without him). Ha ha ha.
So, Hermoine dead? No.
Harry dead? Yes.
Ron? . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I couldn't agree more. I officially swore off the book after the Dumbledore Snape thing, but I have to know what happens. I actually did bet money that Harry will die. I'll be so angry if he doesn't. And I am morbid. Hermione won't die. That I'm sure of. That's about all I'm sure of. I'm so confused now since Dumbledore.

I find it interesting that Slugghorn never says anything about Snape in his bragging about gifted wizards and witches.
He goes on and on about Lilly, but he never mentions Snape.
Could it be that Snape was weak at potions, but got help from Lilly and his mother?
I believe he was exeptionally skilled with his wand (charms, transfiguration and DADA) and that he was more close to Dumbledore in teacher/student relationship than with his head of his house Slugghorn.

Hmm, that's a possibility -- but then there's a sense that he had a grasp on the dark arts --- thus why he's so good at DADA and even making new spells.

If he was weak at potions how could he have written all that stuff in his book? I got the impression that he was very good at potions, and I seriously doubt he would ever accept help from Lily.
